    I'm not going to deny Margarito, as any boxer, has courage and guts to step into the ring. Neither can I take away from him the fact that he was welterweight champion of the world- that said, the division is crowded. Young, hungry guys like Berto are coming out of the shadows- more experienced, ex-champions are still fighting good fight- like Judah and Mosley- and there are always the new elite like Cotto coming in to run the division. With so much talent you can't rest on past accolades when they're as weak as Margarito's are. I can't consider him a top contender because he once held a belt; especially losing it to such an inexperienced challenger.
