Joe has the skills and the talent to beat Hopkins but he won't because Hopkins will find a way to f*** Joe up mentally. he will. he always does.

i'm telling you all this fight is going to be huge. it's going to be interesting beyond belief, hype like we have never seen before. true real hype, no BS from Bernard Hopkins. Joe could be in for it.

BHPS will to win is 10 times stronger than anytig Joe has seen. I dont think Joe is ready for this. He picked this fight with Hops now he gotta deal with the EXECUTIONER>
Just wondering where that will was when he faced Taylor then...

Mayorga is pretty good. He makes people brawl with him and even though he lost badly to DLH and Trinidad, brawling was pretty much his only chance with those guys.
Mayorga did a real nice job with Vernon Forrest. Not so much with Cory Spinks even though he went as low as a man can get (insulting Cory's recently deceased mother).

Although I despise the way Mayweather "trash-talks", I thought Floyd did a very nice job with Hatton who came out like a wild bull without any defense thinking Mayweather couldn't hurt him.

I have an interview with Hopkins' trainer John David Jackson on the subject coming out tomorrow or tonight. Stay tuned for that.

Struggled to beat Winky? Winky is a great fighter! Are you kidding me?

Joe Calzaghe struggled to beat Mikkel Kessler!! Wait, who??

It does have something to do with it.If Bernard can make Calz want to knock him out instead of letting the knockout come to him. He could make Calz want to try even harder for a knockout which would fit into bernards fighting style ala counter punching. The more power Calz comes with the less speed there is and there are more openings.

B-Hop cannot say the same thing

Am I supposed to believe that Joe has never been Taunted before??
He has faced every style already.. none were his Kryptonite..

Yeah, Mayorga is a good one, but I kinda see it more comical then anything else, but maybe that's because I'm a fan and not an opponent! Vargas seemed to genuinely hate him

I would agree if he had faced Sven Ottke (an overly defensive boxer who holds on for dear life and tries to get a decision go his way) but he didn't.

I don't think he has faced a fighter like Hopkins, he has faced people who have similarities with Hopkins, Bika with his fouling, Eubank with his counter punching and many others but never someone quite as defensive as Hopkins unless I've missed some of his fights.

It doesn't matter anyway, I don't think Hopkins has the offensive capabilities to beat Calzaghe at age 43.
