I dount he took he took pavlik lightly. pavlick destroyed edison miranda so you would think taylor knew pavlick was at least a descent threat

After revisiting the fight, I do believe Taylor can beat Pavlik. He can do it. He's definitely got his work cut out for him. I had Pavlik the first go round. I just want to see the fight this time. Could care less who wins.

I won't be surprised if he does beat Pavlik, Taylor has enough speed and power to conqour all the way up to cruiser if not light heavy.

It's just he doesn't really know how to fight. He looks like he's trying to do algerbra when he fights, the dude seriously has moments when he looks worse then when he did when he first came into the sport.

Anyone remember when his jab looked like somthin that came out of Ironman's palms?

lol I do, that **** was a laser beam. Now you don't see it for ****, and Taylors right hand is so wound up that it can be picked up on sonar. Dude needs to stop thinkin so much and let it all come to him. AND KEEP THAT LEFT UP!

No, that power statement is ridiculous, he is not a ko artist at all. So he wouldn't have the same power at cruiser or light heavy. Taylor is mostly speed and thats all.

I have alot of faith in his power because when he throws accurate, and lands, it's devistating. Now if he ever learned to set those kind of shots up frequently, and back to back, and at will for more rounds then just one, and more frequently then once every 2 or 3 rounds.....I'm almost positive he can carry that power and skill past his weightclass if he desired to.

But he's a family guy, a nice guy, always says the the exact and peferct things, you saw Steward talk about that during the countdown. Guys like that usually come up short as is, I don't know if anyone's seen Rounders, but "The nicer the guy, the poorer the card player." That seems to be Taylor exactly, I think Emanuel basically clearified that during the Countdown.

Mainly because Taylor doesn't want to make 160 anymore and he gets a better purse split.

Now that's why I always thought Floyd Mayweather Sr. would be a match made in heaven for JT.

                      Becareful Jermain!!!

1st of all, this is a rematch at a higher weight, no titles are at stake. This is simply an opportunity for Taylor to extract some type of redemption. Quite frankly, Pavlik will be stronger with the added weight, he keeps coming straight ahead like a bulldog, very relentless hard power puncher. I don't believe that Taylor will be able to make Pavlik back up. Jermain is a strong fighter, but now he's fighting someone just as strong if not stronger than he is. So the best thing Taylor can do is try to keep busy by pumping his jab, hoping that it'll setup some Right Hand opportunities. He needs to stay off of the ropes and keep moving around the ring. But we know at some point he'll try to go toe to toe with Kelly and I fully expect Pavlik to finish him off in that instance. The million dollar question is " What will Taylor do, if he gets knocked out again?" As he says no excuses!!!
