Good question. Hatton's body punches are effective when he gets just enough distance on his opponent and is able to explode with a body shot due to his speed like he did against Castillo, then it's hard to beat that, but Cotto's body shots don't seem to KO in opponent with one shot, it's more of a systamatic breakdown whic is very effective for Cotto. Not sure TBH, the only way to find out is let both of them take turns at your ribs, lol.

Between them they are the best body punchers in the game, both have great technique but I think Hatton is a bit more accurate while Cotto hits harder.

When Cotto fights Mayweather I dont think people will say "Where were the body punches?" because when you fight Floyd you seem like an average body puncher because you simply cannot connect effectively.
floyd has not fought anyone like cotto and hatton is no where near the boxer cotto is

Finally voted for Hatton. Not quite convinced, more in disagreement with the result of the poll.

at 140 hatton hurt alot of fighters with body shots but i don't think he could do the same to a 147 fighter
