His last outing against Jesse Feliciano was pathetic, everyone will have to agree that Cintron wouldnt even thouch Cotto.
What was even Cintrons biggest win? Teddy Reid? Hes really not elite.

As for Mayorga against Cotto. Cotto has been know to have trouble with those who pressure him. Mayorga used to and still can put on all out straight forward attacks. He swarms with ferocity and put Lewis,Forrest,Spinks,Vargas and even Trinidad on the canvas. If Cotto can be rocked by Torres I think Mayorga has a good shot.

Just my thoughts. Styles make fights.

Ok... I had seen most of Kermit fights, contrary to others who seem only watch fights agaisnt Margarito, Suarez, Mathesse and Feliciano. What you said about Mayorga is true, but he is not the same young stallion who came to brawl and was hard to fight with. Mayorga nowadays, will lose to the top WWs.

In the other hand, on April 12th, Kermit's boxing career will come to the most critical and important moment. He got humiliated by the more experinced Tony. His fight agaisnt Jesse was a fluke. The only reason I bought his injury claims was because you could hear Kermit between the early rounds complaining of the injury to Stewart. Did he over-reacted at the end and looked like a fool??? Yes I agree.

Then again, I can tell you how a wrist/hand injury from punching really hurts. I broke my right thumb on a fight years ago. I do question his ligament injury, but can't critize what I had not felt myself. And what you said of Ciuntron not able to touch Cotto... you are so wrong, not only Cintron, but other boxers will give problems to Cotto. Cintron is taller, bigger and punches harder than Cotto. If Kermit avenges his loss agaisnt Margarito and reddem himself in the eyes of the Boxing World, I expect a close fight agaisnt Cotto. Any Given Saturday, you may lose or win, no exceptions to this GOLDEN RULE.

I dont like the idea of scheduling in advance like the Gomez and Margarito fights are automatic wins.

I like Cintron's chances (assuming he beats Margarito) against Cotto better than Mayorga's. At least Cintron is in his prime and can make weight without killing himself. IMO Cotto works over Mayorga big time.

I will consider going to the fight, but money right now is an issue. Rather pay the PPV and be here on the net getting on the nerves of those Margarita's Groupies, in case Kermit wins. if he loses, i will be here too, taking it like a man... lol

Yeah Im not a Cintron hater. I mean injurys happen to everyone at this level so you never know. I hope he beats Margarito in the rematch. But hes not a big force in the primetime....yet. The rematch means everything.

I think Mayorga is becoming underrated in his career legacy simply because people assume all fighters have to be 'textbook' to be successful and legit.
He can be beat but its a high bar to pass. All I can say is I got all my points on whatever I said.

I cant wait to see the presser when Mayorga starts to try and piss Cotto off. Ive never seen Cotto mad and would like to think he could keep his cool after Mayorga starts to get nasty. But , honestly -- I can see him destroying Mayorga for making him more uncomfortable than normal. Its gona be a blowout if they fight. Cotto-KO in the 4th round. Mark my words.
