I don't disagree. If I recall correctly however, most of the Cotto supporters on this forum said at the time that Cotto wasn't hurt during that sequence. They felt the HBO commentary team's remarks were leading, and misleading, effectively planting this false impression that he was hurt.
Did Mosley Hurt Cotto At Any Point?

Yeah, I agree. I think we should define 'hirt' before arguing the point. In my mind, 'hurt' is called out when the fighter could be put on the canvas soon. Neither guy was at that point in the fight.Comment

stunned possibly even probably but not hurt. Whe have all seen Cotto hurt and he is one of the worst at hiding the signs that he is hurt. He didn't show it, so he either didn't get hurt or he has gotten much better at hiding it.Comment

This topic is crap? This from the ****ing douche who says something ****** with literally every single post?Yeah, they both hurt each other at different times in the fight. I forget the fight cuz it wasn't my favorite cotto fight, I liked when cotto beat zabs ass more. I think Cotto hurt mosely in the beginning or mid rounds*i forget* and it looked like cotto was hurt near the end... In other words this topic is just crap, because both boxers hurt each other and showed signs that they did because they started fighting in circular motions when hurt
That's you I'm talking about, Boxingidiot. ^^Comment

I could agree with that, however the way the term "hurt" gets used by trainers and cut men during fights is quite *******.
Actually, come to think of it the vast majority of color commentators (like George Foreman and Roy Jones) tend to use the term when you might literally say the fighter was "stunned."
I'll lean towards their usage.Comment

I've seen George use it when guys sort of keel over from a body shot or back up from a good punch. I didn't even see that from Cotto.I could agree with that, however the way the term "hurt" gets used by trainers and cut men during fights is quite *******.
