Who lost worse? Margo when he lost to Williams or Williams when he lost to Quintana?

williams/margarito was much closer than williams/quintana.......
when you see a fighter lose a fight and not lose any credit or fans because he performed well, that tells you something, margarito's loss seemed not to affect him, he lost his wbo and what ? he is line-up to fight cotto, and still is in the mix.......on the other williams lost BADly to quintana, in my eyes a wide UD no doubt, it brought williams fans hope down, when you are routing for a fighter and you know that he is not doing good in the ring it's a bad feeling, that's what happened last night.......williams was worse it's obvious, those who voted for margarito are haters

Margarito because he cried like a little ***** after the fight was over. Williams accepted his loss like a man & basically said he will be come back.

In a round about way I kind of have to agree. Margarito complained for so long that no one would fight him and his reasoning was because he was so good. Then he had to be taken to court before he agreed to fight Williams. When they finally did fight he lost and accused Dan Goosen of fixing the fight. It was pretty classless and it cost him a lot of respect and good will from me and probably other people too.

Yeah but part of the affect of losing is what it does for your future prospects. If you can't take your loss like a man and you refuse an immediate rematch it affects your career.

Truth be told I scored Margarito-Williams 7-5 Williams and Williams-Quintana 7-5 Quintana. After both fights I thought if the title didn't change hands it would be a robbery. So, I really don't think there's much difference in terms of what happened in the ring. The post fight reaction by Williams was classy and respectful. Margarito just acted like a jacka$$, BUT we all know there are a lot of fans who like jacka$$es. So...

I have always been of the opinion that Williams was more hyped than there was actual skill.

When he fought Margarito, I felt for all of the advantages he had working in his favor, he should have annihilated Margarito. He barely beat Margarito, IMO and it certainly was not as convincing as it could have and should have been.

Quintana won a more convincing victory over Williams than did Williams over Margarito. JMO.

Your answer just doesn't seem logical to me. Even though Margarito did complain(because he wasn't affected by Williams' punches) he later admitted defeat. I just don't think what a boxer says in the heat of the moment just be taken too seriously. Just look at the poll.
