He gives up his advantages at the higher weight but luckily there's hardly anyone who is any good there so he may do better. I reckon De La Hoya would absolutely cream Williams.
I think Williams wins a lot of decisions at 154 and puts himself in the top two. But that's not because Williams is good, it's because Junior Middleweight is light on talent. If he went to 160 lbs like De La Hoya did he would be knocked out by anyone in the tope ten.
i believe he shouldn't, i haven't seen his last fight yet but he can still be a force at 147
Apparently his height advantage (quintana) is not that important...I think he is too weak at 47 and should go up. He will still be one of the taller if the not the tallest contender and be strong.
