Well, Welter dislikes Witter an inordinate amount for some reason. That much is apparent.

Thanks for trying to clarify things...
But who said I dont Like witter??
I wish people would read words.. understand their meanings.. and stop trying find hidden agendas or meanings..

I said he is overrated.. which means I think A lot of people are rating him too highly.. when his resume and age are taken into consideration..
My personal feelings about the guy are irellevent..
I did not say he lacks power or skills..
Nor Am i saying.. he would lose to anyone... or beat anyone..
He won 1 fight.. before that fight.. his name was never mentioned on this forum.. or at least very rarely..
Suddenly people hear he is a rival of someone they DONT like..
and Now he is "P4P baby"

He beat a guy with a history of struggling against awkward fighters..
He has done nothing out of the ordinary...
He Ko'd a very KOable fighter..

If y'all want to rate him on One victory.. be my guest.. you will most likely end being the heartbroken ones.. not me..

You said that, in a thread from a month or two ago. And across maybe one or two subsequent threads, you've reinforced my su****ion that Junior is something of a bugbear to you. I ain't knocking, I thought I was just stating the obvious.

Your agenda isn't concealed, that's pretty much what I meant.

Yeah, well, I hear you on that. Folk who dislike Hatton will back any solid contenders calling him out to 'school' him (see also Malignaggi, even if his career was discussed more here than Witter's pre Undefeated).
But, ****, isn't that the name of the game? Let it flow. It's good for Junior that his attempts to put his face in the frame have had something like the desired effect, in that his career is being discussed a little more.

Harris had been KO'd just once before Junior got hold of him. I agree, it doesn't look that great to be knocked out by Carlos Maussa. But Maussa had the highest KO rate of anyone he'd faced up to that point. And it's boxing. There's at least a slim chance of getting knocked out in almost every fight. I don't think Harris' vulnerability to being KO'd is quite as great as to detract so massively from a creditable win for Junior. If people want to blow it up into something more than a very creditable win, why fight fire with fire just for the sake of it?

Vince philips KO tsyzu in his prime and Hatton KO Tsyzu at age 35 i guess we shouldnt put too much stock in the win(According to Welter) because vince philips already done it 10 years earlier and in a better way.

Witter talks like he is unbeatable or something. Is there anyone who he thinks he cant beat? Khan doenst have the tools to beat him he says? What tools do you need to beat him i wonder? Cotto couldnt beat him? Could PBF i wonder?

Witter makes out he hits really really hard. I am sure he does, but there are others out there who could hit him as hard as well. Could his chin hold up?

Witter is probably one of the hardest punchers in the division imo and he has a good chin from what i have seen.

If Warren didnt put his then golden goose (Hatton) in the ring with a then prospect in Witter what makes you think he would do that now with Khan against a more experience Witter?

I dont think Warren would ever risk Khan against someone like Witter at the moment, I think he might be willing to risk Khan against Gavin rees though.

Yes Witter has a good punch and chin. He just needs to fight someone dangerous and at the top of their game now.

The time has come for him to show us how good he claims he is. I do believe he is good.
