I know that the guy's careerer is still young but come on man most of his opponents have been bums and you know that. Let him fight a guy who actually gonna fight back and then make a comment. His performance against this guy does not warrant any praise it's like saying a guy is good because of the way he hit the punching bag. The punching bag don't hit back, just like his opponent tonight!

I Can praise him all I want... hes 24 years old and has started his professional career beautifully... 21-0 18kos... i can praise him all I want too... Im not being delussional about his abilities.. I didnt say he'd beat everyone... But I know what I see, and I like it.

          Berto Gets Hit Too Clean!

Did anyone else notice that when another fighter wants to hit Berto, its usually not a problem? His last few fights, Berto is fighting guys that are just turtling and not offering up much of an offense. His first real test will be against anyone who is a puncher. Then we will se what he's really made of.

co-signed. I don't like the way he stares down the other fighter immediately after each round like he's some big ****. Especially when we all know he is in with pure stiffs.

He'll get his ass kicked soon and he'll be exposed and done, I promise....

I don't think Berto can beat a guy who throws when he throws. His whole "game" is built around him being able to unload on you. Fighters like Cotto, Margarito, Williams, Floyd, Cintron, Quintana, etc. are able to throw back while the other fighter is punching at them. As soon as Berto fights one of these guys he'll be exposed.

He lowers his hands when he punches and leaves his chin WIDE open. He'll be very good against lesser opponents but will get hit too much against fighters that are not afraid of him (look at how much he got hit by Estrada!)

I already said Berto would get this guy out by the 6th round, He didnt prove nothing tonight than him just staying active and thats a good thing, More like Jesus chavez jnr he would be expose if he keep fighting sub-standard opponent.

I was quite impressed with his performance, even if he he was fighting fodder. His punch variety was what stood out to me. He threw everything at Trabant. Doubled the left hook, straight right lead, jab/cross under, tripled the jab, etc. The power wasn't awe-inspiring and his technique is lacking like you said, but yeah he can explode with the quickness.

Berto will have a lot of problems, based on how he looked in this fight, with someone who fights behind a good, fast jab. Trabant was landing it and Berto wasn't doing a great job of throwing over the punch, as it was relatively weak. I'd like to see how Berto deals with a guy like Collazo.
