we learned nothing tonight about Berto. Trabant was a joke. this was a handpick of all handpicks. Berto has offense but when a pressure fighter like Margarito or Cotto get on him he will look totally different. trabant was a heavy bag tongiht, no more no less.

Collazo would be a good fight for him and would represent a step up in class. He needs to be looking at guys who have mixed it at world title level anyway.

They wanted him in there with a guy who was thereto survive and to see if berto could crack his defense. He did that. Job done. none of us know how berto will look against a guy who is just as good if not better than him. We'll find out though. He looked great to night though.

he is pretty good technically, but his defense is slightly leaky. agreed that he is explosive. it's been cool watching him come up and progress. he's a great combination puncher. i like what i'm seeing from this kid so far.
