I think Quintana had a lot to do with it though. In the Margarito fight, Tony started extremely slow, and didn't do much at all the first four rounds. Carlos came after him from the get go and pretty much dominated the first two rounds, catching him cleanly with some good shots.

Yeah, no doubt Margarito blew it by not getting his game going earlier. Quintana brought it from the first round on.

I think Williams was looking past Quintana and was shocked that he came after him so hard. Plus Carlos kept moving so Paul couldn't get his feet set to start really throwing. Paul's lack of amatuer experience really showed in this fight. But he's young, he has a good chin, and he has the physical ability to still have a good career.

Styles Make Fights, Williams Could Still Give Mayweather Problems.

Mayweather v. Williams would be Mayweather v. Corrales II. It wouldn't be competitive because Williams is way too slow with his hands and feet. His arm reach could give him a great jab if he just learned how to throw it. Instead, he throws his elbow out there like a first year amateur. Floyd could slip Williams's jab three times before he decided to counter. I don't think they will ever fight, but it would honestly see Floyd dominating him in the exact fashion that he dominated Chico.
