Calzaghe misses far more than he lands, and every time he falls short with his slaps/swings/cuffs/flurries he's going to be tagged by Froch's hard rangey pistols (while squared up, with his chin up in the air), if he looks at the canvas while throwing punches (as he often does) he's going to find a big, juicy right uppercut planted on his jaw. So you are saying Froch is better technically than Kessler?

All I see in Froch is a big puncher with no defence. Calzaghe has an iron chin so he will take his punches no problem. Froch? He would be open to straight lefts from Calzaghe all night.

What is Froch's defining fight so far in his career? Has he even beaten someone who wasn't shot?

For the record though you also said Lacy,Kessler and Manfredo would beat Calzaghe so please think before you hype up another fighter to be something they're not.

Hopkins may not intimidate Joe but he sure is doing a hell of a lot better at selling the fight than Joe.

Admittedly i'm going purely to see Joe fight again but Mr Hopkins sure does know how to whip people up into a frenzy with the stuff he says.

It doesn't matter if Bernard Hopkins doesn't intimidate Joe. He's gonna give him a royal ass beating on fight night. If the Calzaghe Kessler fight was competitive, Hopkins is WAY above Kessler's level. Plus the fight is at 175, there is no way Joe Calzaghe is taking this one. Bernard is the smartest fighter in the game just behind Floyd.

Nope. Hopkins tries to intimidate everyone with his talk, with his face, with his bravado. It's a part of what makes him great. he is intimidating, his talk, his look, his record, everything about BHops is intimidating. and it has come in handy the last 10 years.

But Joe is not going to be intimidated. Joe fears nothing. Joe has more confidence than anything Hops has fought. Joe is going to look Hops in th eface at the final press conference and weigh in and show him intenisty like he's never seen before. Joe sneered and smiled at Kessler at the weigh in and Kessler seemed a little blinded. Hops realizes Joe's confidence is greater than any he's ever faced. He will try to intimidate that confidence but it wont work.

the white boy comment was a desperate measure because Hops understands Joe has the mental edge and he is trying to reverse it. He's trying to get in Joe's head. to shake his confidence. But there's no way in hell Joe will be intimidated. Joe is pure class and knows all the tricks. People don't realize what an accomplished legend of a fighter Joe is. people underestimate him cuz he's a white boy. They have to get in the ring anyway. How could Hopkins be desperate? Plus, have you ever lived in a Black neighborhood? Anyone who isn't dark-skinned black is called "White Boy" and that includes light-skinned Blacks. I'm Mexican and I would always get called "White Boy" and "Amigo" when I lived in Black neighborhoods. That's just the way it is. It's not desperate. It is what it is.

But they have to get into the ring. Whether or not you think Calzaghe is mentally tough and/or intimidated is pretty close to irrelevant. Oscar De la Hoya didn't want to look Fernando Vargas in the eye and he knocked Vargas out. Ricky Hatton acted like a little Manchester Bad A$$ and he got KO'd. Fights are won and lost in the ring.
