There is a possibility he said that because I know he thinks very highly of Jones and he even talks about him in his book saying how that would be his dream fight. Joe thinks he can beat him however,I talked to him before in person and he told me how he thinks he would of beaten Hopkins if he got the chance as well as Jones, Ottke etc. He holds Jones in high regard though but doesn't think much of Hopkins.

The Blow's resume could be better, but it's just Yanks that regard all pre-Lacy as "bums". If they gave The Blow a tougher test than Lacy, then what does that make Lacy?

No he beat everyone there was to beat at Super Middleweight except Sven Ottke who didn't want to fight Calzaghe. Although i do think Calzaghe has reigned in a weak era.
