Floyd Mayweather: Hard work & Dedication

Floyd Mayweather is a positive rolemodel inspiring boxing fans like myself to a healthy lifestyle. "Hard work & Dedication" - those words stuck with me when working out, running the treadmill and doing crunches & situps pushing me to work harder which allows me to sit here right now online feeling good about myself.

How can you not like this guy unless you're a couch potato

I always chuckle when I see fighters with so much talent lack the dedication needed to be and/or stay at the top. You can't do anything about how fast you are, or how hard you punch, or how much of a chin you have. However, you CAN determine how prepared you are in the ring by working your hardest to be in the best shape you can.

No doubt, finally a thread with meaning, and shedding light to the reason why there are so many floyd fans.

Boxing is all about hard work & dedication, if you dont respect that. You dont respect boxing.

James Toney is a prime example of so much damn talent but not enough dedication.

The Barkley fight is a display on how it's supposed to be done.

what he acts like hes a rapper how is that a positive role model? Being a braggart and throwing money at strippers, wow such a class act.

Not olny that but he has attained fame and fortune through boxing, yet he wont give fighters who earned a shot at a big payday a chance, its all about he and delahoya getting richer.

Also if you are a weak minded individual I can see needing to watch Floyd do situps to get motivated. Most people know about health benefits through exercise on their own.

                    Crazylegs,

There is a difference between the term Inspired and the term motivated by something or somebody. Floyd does not motivate me to train, I can do that on my own. He inspires me to train. Get it?

Sugar Ray Leonard was inspired by M.Ali to become a boxer not motivated by him to become one. Big difference.

I think I explained my position very well. Lets see if you counter my post with another negative comment.
