    Ahh..

    Dude look at your argument.

He's not handpicking opponents yet he's fighting for the money??

    Isn't that the same?

    Your double-standards is revealing itself.

Fighting Gatti over KOstya, Baldo over Marg DLH over Cotto or WIll is handpicking.

    By all that's decent!!!!

    This is common sense.

The way Floyd did it was impressive.

Hell, Floyd beating Gatti was impressive, mostly because he didn't take a single meaningful punch.

But if you go back in 20 years and list the big names that Floyd beat, N'dou or Gatti will NOT be listed.

Who gives a **** if he is handpicking?

Didn't he just beat a 44-0 guy who happened to be ranked Top 10 P4P. A guy alot of people thought would beat Floyd. So what's the problem? This isn't the WWF and there is no Vince McMahon to schedule matches every week and tell you who your opponent is.

A top fighter dictates his own future and make his own decisions. A desperate fighter looking for a payday badly will take what he can because he is not in a position to pick and choose.

That's all there is to it. Margarito wishes he was in Floyd's position.

Every Resume in Boxing is hand picked to some extent. It's been done since the very early days in the sport. It's not like Tennis.

I picked option #2, because he generally does fight the best, but sometimes, such as in the case of fighting Oscar against instead of Cotto, he does handpick opponents.

Fighting for money only clearly is handpicking by the way, because it is not fighting the best out there... it can be, but skills is not why he would pick a certain opponent, it is money, pure and simple.

What you said applies to everyone including Cotto,Hatton,Oscar and any other top names...Everyone chooses and handpick there opponents, Every cotto's opponent are handpick, Every Hatton opponent are handpicked..Oscars...Paul williams.
