    Kirkland-Baldomir?...Forrest-Mora?....

I hear that the May 17th edition of 'BAD' could feature a pair of hard-hitting 154-pounders. James Kirkland would headline, and the names being mentioned for him are Carlos Baldomir, Travis Simms and Eromosele Albert. The red-hot Alfredo Angulo would open up, possibly against Andrey Tsurkan.

One bout that I heard being discussed is Vernon Forrest-Sergio Mora......

lolz damn man Mora is on crack, this guy turned down Jermain Taylor who if he ran against for the whole night a la Spinks could have been Middleweight champion, won much more money and fought Pavlik just to go 1 division lighter against a big puncher and lesser name for MUCH less, this guy is an idiot.. not to say Forrest is a smaller name, I actually resent that because to ME he isn't but I know A LOT of people who know Jermain Taylor by name while with Forrest they be like "the dude who beat Mosley twice", shameful **** but true, Vernon should kick his ass in this fight and Kirkland ain't knocking out Baldomir so he better come for a stretch, if not and Baldomir actually fights with some desire unlike his last fight we can see an upset, James is explosive but Baldomir felt a big punch before and took it for 12 but can Kirkland do it? perfect fight for him and I pick James but Baldomir is a tough foe.

Baldomir shouldent be fighting at 154,i know his body is built for it but he was best at welterweight,he got rocked a few times in his last fight against a hard hitter,Kirkland hits harder then Baldomirs last opponent, and Baldomir has 0 defence,im going with Kirkland, this will be his breakthru fight for the Lightmiddle division

Since Mosley wouldnt sign the contract to fight Mayorga, they should just make some real fights. This has HBO World Championship boxing all over it. Mayorga vs Baldomir or Forrest at 154.

Forrest can do better than this. His last two fights were against weaker opposition. I figure its time to step it up.

I would like to see Forrest fight somebody better, but at the same time I wouldn't mind seeing him work Mora's ass. I thought James Kirkland was going to fight Joel Julio, which I think would be a barn burner. Baldomir if he has anything left wouldn't be bad, but I would rather see two young guys in Kirkland and Julio go at it. Maybe in the Angulo fight against Tsurkan he could actually get some rounds. He's been blitzing his past few opponents.
