It was a ****** question from the reporter, and his article was even more ******. His questions before that were equally ******. "Sooo How do you think the fight will go?" lol. Like Hopkins said, how is he supposed to know untill the bell rings.
Hopkins getting really pissed at a Setanta reporter

The interviewer should appreciate that someone gives him time to answer his questions and not try to be smart (dumb) about it.
I'm sure he just couldn't resist referring to that ripped glove incident (which is a myth) but try to be professional about it.
And if he wanted to sound smarter, how about bringing up the fact that Ali got knocked down hard in that fight.
Anyway, here is the fight. Cooper vs Ali.Comment

He's very sensitive and unstable, this Bernard fellow.
And no, the little man from the nice neighborhood in Germantown with below average power is not scary, "street," intimidating, or anything else. He's a little crafty is all.Comment

C'mon, you're saying he didn't deserve to get mad at that reporter after those ****** questions? I'm surprised he kept his cool and kept on with the interview.Comment

I think it was just a classical British off the cuff comment, a light hearted joke, the reporter knows Bernard isn't going to cut his gloves but just put it out there as a bit of banter. Just a misunderstanding I think, don't think the reported meant anything by it even if he is the worst interviewer ever.Comment
