Even as a Brit, it gets annoying when they only show the knockdown and not the clinical dismantling of Coopers face - a trained butcher couldn't have done better. Poor old Henry, he would have made a decent Cruiserweight, but those paper eyebrows kept coming back to haunt him.

Poor Cooper indeed, Ali was the best at cutting up people. Henry's paper skin didn't help.

I may have misheard but did Hopkins say "You're not on my intelligent level." If so then he must feel pretty ****** right now.

Also the interviewer as a really sarcastic sounding voice and his choice of questions weren't the best I think he should just stick to holding the camera.

What makes it worse is B-Hop actually admires is estimate of his own intelligence... Unlike Uncle roger who'd just stutter & mutha ****a throughout the interview...
There is a big difference between being academically smart and street smart, Bernard ain't the first be he is the second, he has managed his career brilliantly and he doesn't seem to have been suckered by hangers on like many other famous boxers have.

Right on. That's why Cossell was so good with Ali. He could get under the champ's skin and win a battle of wits, safe in the knowledge he's not getting hit. But those two were both very intelligent, which made it more fun.

              This Hopkins bit was cringe-worthy.

Yep he did say that. What an arse eh? If you're gonna act intelligent, you gotta do it right at least.

                  Lmao.

The reporter sounded like a prick though when he said "cool."

it makes for great media hype when a fighter digs into the medias ass and Bernard did just that accept he went about it wrong, 1 thing is to go at it with a reporter for promotion and another is to do it very angrily for the sake of nothing, he had no reason to come at him the way he did, he didn't have to answer his first question so hostile, he looked like he just didn't like the guy and wanted to give him a hard time, you could tell because he would break his silence in between answers to lighten up his tone a bit but still didn't fight the dislike good enough.. the Cossell days were good but I don't think this was similar to that because there was a good friendship with those 2 but this B-Hop **** was just uncalled for and Bernard could have been more of a professional and played that cooler.
