Oscar white guy?

I know a lot Mexicans turned their backs on Oscar after he ran from Tito in the last rounds of their fight. He's also not from Mexico. I realize of course that he is technically ethnically Mexican BUT.. the other day one of my friends said after watching a fight of his that he's kind of a whiteguy. Does anyone else look at Oscar as being such? I'm just wondering..

obviously he has white skin, but i feel like so do a lot of puerto ricans and other ethnicities.. And they don't consider themselves to be a white guy or girl.

Basically De la Hoya is to mexican people what black people would call a coon. Its funny you mention how mexicans turned they backs on De la Hoya. I can't because out in Vegas for the PBF vs. De la Hoya a lot of mexicans were sure rooting for De la Hoya to beat PBF ass. Which he didn't of course.

People need to stop acting like WHITES are a people of various ethnics.
