If we want to believe "white guy" is such a broad word, then we must believe those people and say that technically arabs and hispanics are also white?

I don't even consider Italians white, because they are simply diffirent.

It's not about how light your skin is or anything like that.

Oscar is not white.

Northern Italians are light skinned and many of them have blonde hair.

Arabs aren`t white, they are asian. Hipanics aren`t a race.

I know a lot Mexicans turned their backs on Oscar after he ran from Tito in the last rounds of their fight. He's also not from Mexico. I realize of course that he is technically ethnically Mexican BUT.. the other day one of my friends said after watching a fight of his that he's kind of a whiteguy. Does anyone else look at Oscar as being such? I'm just wondering..

Latino's are a mix of Indian and European with sometimes Black.
Technically.. he is somewhat of a white guy.. but then so are alot of latinos.
There's not one straight way to classify Latinos..

Well since I got to Canada I only use the term "white" or "white boy" to refer to Canadians and Americans of at least 2 generations but who have European roots.

It's not a term Id use to refer to an english guy, a spaniard, a russian or an italian.

Sure I might have the same skin colour as a 4th generation Canuck but thats about the only common thing between me and him (im ukrainian)

How are Italians not white? Just because they're not the typical bastardized (ie. English, Scottish, German, 1/4 Polish, 1/16 Native Amerian, on and on) white American? Italians are not only white, but they were one of the first civilized European peoples and are responsible for spreading European culture to all the northern european neanderthals after they ***** slapped them (see the Roman Empire).

Also, no, Oscar is not white. He just has a good showing of Spanish conquistador blood, but his features reflect the Mexican (Indian) heritage in his background (flat skull, etc). But that's not a bad thing, he's still a champion fighter.
