De La Hoya would be up quite a ways if he were to be considered a Welter.

Yes. Margarito's size advantage (height, reach, and physique), average punch output per fight, and his aggressive offense, IMO, would be too much for Floyd to handle.

              This is mine:

              1. Floyd Mayweather
              2. Miguel Cotto
              3. Paul Williams
              4. Kermit Cintron
              5. Antonio Margarito
              6. Shane Mosley
              7. Joshua Clottey
              8. Luis Collazo
              9. Zab Judah
              10. Andre Berto
almost identical to my list except i would have Margo and Mosley above Cintron.

If you were to rank them according to level of opposition beaten at WW, Floyd would not be #1. Miguel would be. Cotto has faced the better comp at that weight.

                Quintana/Judah/Mosley > Mitchel/Baldomir/Judah.

Well heres my 2 cents and I know boxing, I dont think you know boxing. (maybe your a casual fan?) I really like Marg, but if he was so bad why did he struggle with Sabastian Lujon and lose to Williams?

clottey is a little to high, everyone gives him credit he's tough but who was his toughest opponent margarito. i know it was a close fight but he didn't win. his last fight was a ibf eliminator so thats a benefit but against shamone alvarez a suspect fight.
collazo on the other hand, had the wba belt and fought tougher opponents especially in hatton and mosely....
but the welterweight list is pretty amazing
