    Pavlik's 2008

How will Pavlik's year play out? Assuming that he fights the fights laid out for him.. First Taylor then John Duddy then Arthur Abraham. Will he go undefeated will he go winless? Any thoughts.

I think his schedule will be like that too, maybe Andy Lee in the place of Abraham, but either way, he'll go undefeated this year.

It would automatically setup a trilogy and he'd still have two belts at his proper weight class. wake up

I hope he goes undefeated although i do have tons of respect for Taylor. I will savor a destruction of Abraham more if it happens.

            Pavlik's year:

            * Beats Taylor by TKO around round 10 following a scrappy fight.
            * Beats Duddy by KO around round 8 following a dominant performance.
            * Loses to Calzaghe by UD having been tempted to Wales by huge money at Super Middleweight.

It'll depend on if Calzaghe goes for the easy payday option of Jones Jr or Pavlik, but I think he'll have a chance to end his career against Pavlik if he wants it. Bob Arum knows how much money can be made from fighting Calzaghe in Wales.

I predict Pavlik will have a good 2008 provided he beats Jermaine Taylor later this month. After he gets by Taylor, there are so many good fights out there for him and for fans of boxing. A battle of undefeateds with Arthur Abraham comes to mind, as well as fights with John Duddy, Andy Lee, Winky Wright, amongst others…

A lot will depend on the outcomes of other fights and obviously the outcome of his next one with JT. If Kelly looses, he keeps his belts and defends against Duddy and unifies against Abraham, JT will go on to fight Joe C for big bucks. If Kelly wins, he may decide to fight Joe C, as this will generate more cash than his other fights put together, Duddy will probably get a nice cheque for forgoing the match, as for a beaten JT ?? Who knows??

If Pavlik wins all his fights this year (Taylor, Duddy, Abraham) He should definetly win Fighter of the Year this year.

He should have won it last year, and he will definetly win it this year if he goes undefeated...

...unless Cotto beats Gomez, Margarito, and gets a big fight like Williams to cap off the year
