Where's Lamotta, Basilio, Archie Moore, Willie Pep...you cant have a 'Top Ten Toughest SOB's in Boxing History' and 'omit older fighters from the past'. Then it isnt history..its modern day. Willie Pep fought after surviving a plane crash, for God's sake! Lamotta wasnt known as the Bronx Bull for nothing. Basilio was in so many wars and usually the smaller guy. Moore fought so many fights, he HAD to be a Tough SOB. I would even throw Dempsey in there.

The amazing thing about Pep is that doctors said he would never be able to walk again or something like that ?? but he still fought on quite an uplifting story to hear.

u know it does makeme laugh when people get out thier pram about old fighters being omitted from any Top Ten list when it comes to Boxing ,yet it is acceptable for nearly every fighter on the list to be from yester year & have no modern day fighters included

hel ill bet some people rank Sonny Liston as a better Heavyweight than Lennox Lewis LOL
