Its arguble Winky has only one loss and thats to McKart, maybe. Im the biggest Hop fan I know but thought he might should have gotten the nod, he beat Vargas really, maybe even JT, didnt see the McKart fight.

I say no. he wasnt a crowd pleasing fighter and will not be remembered for anything but beating mosleyand a blown up trinidad. never was a long time reigning world champion. Lost most of his big fights regardless of whether we thought he won or not, because we are not HOF voters. Lost to Hopkins, Vargas, Draw with Taylor who is not going to the HOF, and also lost to a nobody by the name of harry simon, and Julio Cesar Vasquez. I just think in ten years when you think about Ronald "Wnky" Wright we would remember his losses and draws before we remember his signature wins. Quartey = past his prime, Trinidad= lost all three of his 5 fights 160 and up, and his biggest wins were over Bronco McKart (not a HOF) and Mosley (HOF).

mosley is right at the boderline but leaning towards the yes vote,
the started in a different weight class different competion and also mosley has had the better battles to remember.....
let's say hopkins that's a no brainer but winky idk

he didn't do enough, he fights just to make it through the rounds one punch at a time on defense mode, man that's not gonna get you anywhere,
that's why his name is not even mentioned in the mix,
he is out with no big payday, is sad to have a "hall of famer" asking for a big payday...he doesn't bring anything to the table....one word to define winky=boring

I'm sure you didn't see the McKart fight that Winky lost, because Winky was 3-0 against him.
