Ooops, my bad, the point is still the same though, guy has way too much pressure on him, he doesnt need to see that **** before fights, and to be honest the same thing happened before the mayweather fight anyways i but i dont know if he was shown the tributes, i bet he was though.

It was before the castillo fight but, they were showing reels on sky of people wishing him well, celebs and sports people in the tv shows leading up to the mayweather fight. Which leads me to think he got shown them again.

24/7 Obviously paid a huge part but if it was'nt for Sky Sports coverage of the fight i dont think it would have been as popular as it was ,people tuned into 24/7 because of the coverage the fight got on Sky Sports

IMO this fight made Hatton a 100 times more popular in this country
win or lose he has reaped the benefits financially cause his pofile is sky high home & abroad ,he is probably the most popular fighter since Frank Bruno as a figure for Boxing

It also put alot of pressure on Hatton, I didnt think he realise the magnitude of the fight until Mayweather came here and SKYSports hyped up the fight, From then on he lost focus, He got ****** into the atmosphere and lost his head...I saw the Programme as well and i think he had too many people to please when it shouldnt have to.

Rickys people have known him his whole life. They know what would help motivate him and what would hurt him. No way they would have shown him the video unless they thought it would be a good thing for him to see. Both fighters had huge pressure on there shoulders by representing there respective countries, but I dont think Ricky is mentally weak enough for the video to have hurt him.

They dont have to show him the videos all he had to do was turn the TV on and there it is right in front of him, Unlike Hatton Mayweather really didnt have a whole nation behind him, Most american wanted him to lose including his own father and the co-promoter of the fight.

Hatton went into the fight with an enormous weight of pressure to succeed in a fight were he was the underdog in the really boxing world but been made the favourite in the delusional side of the boxing world.

I dont think he could have won anyways, but the guy must have been under real pressure, in the beggining the of the press conference tour he was pretty relaxed, if you then watch him at the final weigh in its a totally different story, too much expectation plus a delusional Billy Graham ranting on about hatton having the 'antidote' to floyd mayweather, it did him harm. Because he went into that ring not actually knowing what he was up against, he wasnt prepared properly, not that it would have made a difference, but he was shocked at how crafty mayweather was on the inside and he wasnt prepared for that.

That really sums it up for me, I thought he handle the presser all well until the weigh in with Graham talking all the rubbish.

I also think he was shocked about how well PBF handle himself on the inside, They thought he would try to box his way to victory from the outside and that would give Hatton the chance to close the distance but it was a different story.

Agreed, see since the fight ive gone and watched a few videos of Billy Graham talking about the fight, and he clearly underestimated mayweather and just kept repeating the same thing over and over again. Also i saw way too much of him in that ****** body bag, that body bag training means **** all if you cant get to the body in the first place, wide punches, no head movement, no timing. Hatton came steaming in head up, it took mayweather a few rounds to time hatton coming in with the right hand, then fight was all over. It is any coincidence that Matthew Mackin ****ed off from Billy Graham after that and went to Mayweather Sr?

Great point, I didnt like the fact that he was more focus on the bodybag, I saw a video clip from Mayweather blocking the bodyshot that was been throw by Roger at a very very good speed and i thought no way Hatton land a bodyshot on Mayweather.

Hatton never had a Head movement IMO, He weaves side by side sometimes but that against mediocre opposition, Am not underestimating Hatton because he lost to Mayweather but i think Hatton would have problems with any boxer with good movement.

The problem about Billy graham is he trains people base on stamina, but once thats gone then you're basically ****ed, I saw Matthew Macklin against Jamie moore and with a trainer with a good pedigree he would have won the fight..He used up too much energy against moore trying the ricky Hatton style and got KTFO...Am not suprise he went with a trainer that would make him box more instead of head first boxing.
