He keeps his left hand low,and actually walks back with it down, hes got terrible footwork, and doesnt throw no combos and hasnt got the best stamina,so it wouldnt be nothing like Calzaghe-Lacy,Taylor is athletic but he cant box,i hate it when people say hes gna box Pavliks head off like hes the middleweight Floyd Mayweather
the thing with that is that all he has to do is keep his hands up and move his head, once he does that just about everything in that post is nullified and I think thats what he's training to do, Pavlik himself doesn't have the best movement and although he's tall and strong he is also easy to hit, Taylor is easy to hit with that right hand and maybe going backwards but for the most part when the fight is in the middle of the ring and stays there regardless of his flaws he still got the better of the rounds, on the ropes or on the move going back it's that Pavlik right hand that ****s him over but I think, and it DOES remain to be seen, I think Taylor will be smarter and not move straight back, move his head more and stay off those ropes, any other flaw he may have will be justified by keeping the fight in the middle of the ring, Pavlik was losing on points due to the fight being kept in the middle of the ring for the most part.

I think it's a bad idea fighting Pavlik this soon. After taking the kind of punishment this soon I would of rather he take a tune-up then rematch Kelly. Either way I have Pavlik winning. If Jermain takes another knock out he may never be the same. Back to back knock outs aren't a good thing.

i think he will kina just hang around fighting journymen and up and coming prospects, he will have been exposed as a one dimensional fighter who isnt all that speacial so i dont think he will ever return to his former status, hbo will probably drop him as well, hell he might even retire seeing as how he os already a millionaire

Taylor was hurt and humiliated after that last fight. He even came on this forum and told people here he was going to use the rematch clause and sure enough he did..

I think if he loses again, he will retire.

He is a fighter man. Even if he loses he is going to do what he does, fight on.

If it happens then it happens. It is the guy that knocked him out the first time so it's not out of the question he can do it again he already showed he's capable of it. I dont think in no way it would be the end of Taylor. It would just mean pavlik has his number. Every boxer or just about every athlete comes across someone that for some reason whether he is better then him or not just seems to have problems with. It's not like he fought two different fighters and got ko'd by both. If gets ko'd then he moves on from pavlik and continues to fight top competition. I highly doubt it would mean the end i think people are blowing up that ko like it's the end of the world when in reality sometimes something like that needs to happen to get that extra push an athlete needs to get better.

rematch vs. willie gibbs followed by a fight against the weakest title holder he can find between the 168 and 175 classes.
