Calzaghe would make Pavlik look worse than Lacy did. Pavlik is more one dimensional that Lacy, and Calzaghe would definitely make it look that way. Dont hate me for saying it, we all know it deep down, and I'm a big Pavlik fan.

Lacy wasnt Lacy because Calzaghe wasnt who he thought he was. He was told that he was fighting an old slapper. He actually fought against a man who boxes with the stamina of a man half his age and more power than he will ever receive credit for. Still the only man to put Lacy on the canvas I believe?

That brings me back to the point of this thread, for me its Calzaghe, but all I do is cancel out all the negative bull**** that yanks insist on spouting every day, so its not really fanboy, just a little overboard in defense, but everything I have ever said about him is true.

No question about any of that......I agree. I've since become a big Calzaghe supporter. He fights like fans want to see and does it better than damn near anyone else out there today!

this sounds like the thinking behind any fanboy but i guess that is the point of the thread. What's interesting is no one has come on here and admitted to loving PBF.. No Pbf huggers on this forum? Not being able to admit even a little hugging is a sure sign of being a fanboy.

I think everyone who watches boxing is still a tyson fanboy on same level. Or atleast they have a sneaking su****ion he could work his magic on almost anyone in the ring when fully in prime.

I loved Tyson, and I spose I still do, but he was still fighting the same way until late 90s. Tysons prime was when he had that fear factor, nothing to do with his actual boxing skill. To better explain what I mean, most fighters were beaten by Tyson before they entered the ring, crippled by their own fear. When James Douglas showed people the blueprint for beating a "prime" Tyson, you found a lot more people standing up to his intimidation tactics, and Tyson looked worse as a result. Still a great fighter though

Only Person I've ever been a fanatic over in all of sports is Dominique Wilkins when I was a kid. Even to this day when I play basketball, I still try to play like him, its kinda sad!

Not ready for Kessler? ****, I don't know about that. I'm def a Pavlik hugger, I may cry he if Taylor wins.
