Do you think the Mayweather-Cross Dresser rematch is a weaker and more unnecessary rematch than DLH-Chavez 2?

what are your thoughts about the de la fishnet, bernard hopkins, richard schafer, and Golden Girl Promotions in general?
Golden Boy Promotions is committed to resurrecting the sport of boxing. Their efforts should be celebrated, and I for one am a proud supporter of their organization.

hehehe, hey it's Super Tuesday (in the States). Politicians are celebrated all days for their years of lies, so I figured when in Rome...

but just to give you what you've been looking for...

Jake, what are your thoughts about the Golden Fishnet making Chavez come up to 147 for that unnecessary rematch?
Gay La Hoya -Chavez II happening at all was an utter waste of space (even though the fight itself turned out to be entertaining). That HBO actually bought into his bull**** of "this one is personal" was just as pathetic.

Do you think the Mayweather-Cross Dresser rematch is a weaker and more unnecessary rematch than DLH-Chavez 2?
can it honestly be any worse? In fact, that should be the tagline to accompany the event.

There's no way they improve on the ratings, I'll say that much. Again, another waste of a September time slot.

Nothing like a Jake anti-GBP rant to start off the work day!

Chavez beat no one after his fight with taylor at 140. Wasn't he embarrased by All Time great Willy Wise? Oscar beats Chavez at 147 and 140. Chavez did thing at 130 and 135 after that he fell off. I like Chavez and respected him immensly as a kid but looking back at his career he really wasn't all that. He dominated 2 divisions which is outsatnding but not all time great or top 20 like I've seen him portayed as. Oscar's career superceeds chavez.

Oscar would have HANDLED JLC at any weight, 140 probably. He's a Meldrick Taylor with power and with more range.
