I Feel Oscar would have been beaten by J C Chavez in his Prime ,its no secret that Chavez adapted his style after the Randall fights ,i cant see a prime Chavez letting Oscar back him up like he did in thier 2 encounters

At 147, a prime DLH beats a prime Chavez.

i can see why u say Oscar cause J C C haveez was'nt great at 147 however that was probably more to do with age & diminishing skills & Oscar was very good at 147, however Chavez in his prime would have beaten Oscar he would have slowed Oscar down over the coarse of a 12 rounder with his left hooks to the body etc & he would have sapped Oscar's suspect stamina & come on strong towards the end of the fight to win a decision IMO

147 was too big for Chavez in my opinion. Chavez was prime at Lightweight and his last fights at 130. in those two weight classes, I think Chavez beats Oscar. but Oscar at 140+ was too big and not weight drained enough to lose to Chavez.

but they would be competitive fights. Chavez was actually a pain in the butt to Oscar in the 2nd fight...

I agree with that, saves me from typing out an explanation.

chavez did basically nothing @ 147.

a late 80s chavez at 135 and 140 would've given the fishnet all he could handle.

my thoughts exactly. There's no such thing as a prime Chavez at 147.

If we want to argue that a Chavez who moves up to 147 after the Meldrick Taylor fight beats a prime DLH... well, I'd still disagree with that. I'd also pick Oscar to beat the Chavez who "drew" with Whitaker in 1993.

Jake, what are your thoughts about the Golden Fishnet making Chavez come up to 147 for that unnecessary rematch?

Do you think the Mayweather-Cross Dresser rematch is a weaker and more unnecessary rematch than DLH-Chavez 2?

what are your thoughts about the de la fishnet, bernard hopkins, richard schafer, and Golden Girl Promotions in general?

i knew people would get on my case about making this fight at 147 however i was just trying to establish wether Oscar would have handled J C Chavez in his prime
