    No that was Jones-Glen Kelly.

This was the chicken wing spread, and then Toney tried to do it back to mock him, and he ****ed him with a leaping left hook.

I sorta agree with you, Jones really made it look easy, but at the same time James Toney was amazing at that time so its like damn what was in ya head during the fight

As far as Taylor Chavez, Taylor proved he was the superior boxer in that fight and he looked like a bionic version of Juan Diaz but I thot chavez won the fight. I know its controversial, I kno it was only two seconds left, but Chavez rocked him, Taylor got up, aint say nothing to the ref, thats a loss folks. If the ref asking suttin, and u say nuttin, you've just been knocked out

              I agree...

Just like in the Penalosa-Gonzalez fight... I give the win to the guy who got the win, but I think the loser is the better fighter, simple as that.

its a shame wat happened to Taylor tho, he was amazing in that fight and just slide downhill.

I didn't really like the Hatton Mayweather only cuz I knew it was a mismatch. I felt that Hatton struggled at 147, and as likeable as he is, his performances didn't warrent a shot at the p4p king.

But we all know that Money talks man

Ray Leonard vs Thomas Hearns and Ray Leonard vs Roberto Duran were great as well.

Whoa pause for a second, he didn't just pause for a second and not say nothing to the referee he looked at his corner man, and to make that worse from Richard Steele he tried to make it seem like Taylor was just out when he was up before 5 and was fully standing up and attentative when in other fights Richard Steele has let other worse opponents continue, there was a Roy Jones fight where the guy literally got up and fell back down, something like Zab and kostya and Richard Steele still counted for the man, now I don't remember if he let it go or not but he counted for a guy who got up and fell again so all that good referee bull**** don't hold no weight, he used that as his excuse for stopping Taylor just to go and do that a few years later? I remember seeing that Roy Jones Jr highlight somewhere on this forum, someone had posted a highlight video of Roy Jones showing his best knockouts and 1 was a knockout of a fight where Richard Steele was a referee giving a guy who was clearly out more of a chance than what he gave Taylor who was on his feet by 5 and basically 2 seconds away from the final bell..

that **** was foul yo and no matter what anybody says yo your job as the referee is to hear that 10 second warning, it's your cue to know that it's about to be time to break that **** up so there's mistake number 1, number 2 is that his man was up by 5, had he just said "look at me" or "Meldrick if you don't respond I will stop it" or some ****ing **** Meldrick would have won.. there is NO excuse for Richard Steele, NONE. I apologize sincerely to the thread starter for even bringing up this argument because it's a very much debated argument on these boards but I just couldn't let that pass, Meldrick Taylor won that fight and Richard Steele was in the wrong..

out of respect for the thread starters thread I think that a GREAT 0 VS 0 fight is and always will be Ricardo Torres VS Miguel Cotto, the numbers in that fight was just amazing, every round there was a 10-8 for each fighter, it was just amazing, you didn't know who's 0 was going to go and was just on your seat the entire time.
