Did you ever do organized policy debate in either high school or college? You seem to be good with arguments, and that is somewhat of an indicator of what a debater does.

Just curious... I know there have to be some debaters on this site somewhere.
Actually i interned at the Johhny Cochran Law Firm for 3 years before i Switch my Major to business...

it's called proper promotion, **** Taylor-Pavlik I was on HBO and look at the rematch, sometimes it's good to throw a freebie because the kick back is always tasty, just ask Oscar De La Hoya BUT don't think for a second that Miguel Cotto isn't an attraction, that he wont draw money or fans.. Floyd doesn't fight Miguel NOT because he doesn't think he's a draw, thats just an excuse, he doesn't fight him because he's building the hype up, he's keeping me, you and every other member here buzzing and demanding for it so when it finally does happen the money will be immense but NOT because Cotto ain't no draw, believe that.."

let me ask you this though, since when does PPV sales determine how the best pick their opponents? thats not **** a real champion does yo don't sit here and say because of sales that Cotto doesn't deserve a fight with Mayweather, that is BULL****, complete and utter BULL****. Boxing is based on the ranks and who is next in line, in his last 3 fights, the only 3 fights since winning his title Floyd has only faced a 140 pounder and a 154 pounder, **** the money because this ain't about money, Butter Bean was making money homie this about about titles and ranks and right now Floyd doesn't deserve his #1 spot because since winning his title he hasn't and has shown no intent in fighting the best in his division where he is a supposed champion. he can't ****ing use money as a reason to avoid his number 2 ranked predecessor, thats BULL****.

you can talk about sales all you want fam but the truth is evident, the best fight the best, talk about PPV buys all you wants but Boxing ain't about money it's about the best fighting the best and taking the most chances for the sake of the sport, now I can understand Floyd not wanting to do that but if thats the ****ing case leave it for the ones who do, leave it for the ones who will take on whoever is out there and value money but also hope to achieve more and more greatness and not just sit at the top of a throne they have yet to defend, he's looking for opponents from 140 and 154 when there are people at 147, HIS DIVISION, who can beat him and he cites money as the reason? that sounds like a true champion? a champion is someone who takes on all foes, does that sound like a champion?

I'll tell you what Floyd is doing, Floyd is fighting and whooping on De La Hoya like this so that if he losses he lost to a 10 time world champion, a Hall Of Famer and not a young mother****er, if he wins he beats a Hall Of Famer and when he is eventually pushed against the gates he either fights a true threat in his division and says "I passed the torch" or he retires, either way it's a complete set up to cushion his ass when he falls. I got nothing but love for Floyd but I read threw the lines yo the man clearly isn't thinking about his belts, he's doing whatever the **** he wants, you know like in fight night how you have like 50 weeks to defend your title or you get stripped? it's like he waits until the last week to fight someone legit in his division then goes and does something else leaving his division, the one he is so called the #1 fighter in to have everyone else fighting each other for a taste.

even De La Hoya fought the best in his time, this is why he achieved such a height, he could have avoided Trinidad and gave Sweet Pea and all these cats a rematch but he didn't he said bring on Tito and now Mayweather is trying to reach that same star status where he's screaming for money only and it's supposed to slide? hell ****ing no, do what you want Floyd, fight whoever you please just don't stop the other Welterweights from eating, I just hope that whenever there is a unified Welterweight world champion Floyd doesn't decide to retire and defends his title like a man and doesn't force whoever is left as the champion to remain an "on paper champion for one of his crowns simply because he didn't want to fight. he makes it seem like because this is Boxing that he has some sort of right to avoid the best and take on a lesser challenge just because it's more money, motha****a this is Boxing, what the **** have you been doing for all the rest of your career, fighting the best not giving a **** about the bread you was doing it for the pride, what he is doing now is a shame to guys like Levander Johnson who died FIGHTING in the ring and not for nothing more than pride, money was never the issue, or course he would have liked it but it wasn't his calling card.
CRILLZ- since when does PPV sales determine how the best pick their opponents?

Why you think Arum hasnt Release Cotto/Mosely Numbers..??
Because Arum Knows that, that is the indicator for Negations with HBO for Cotto's next Fight....

Why you think cotto is fighting For free now on HBO....this time

      CRILLZ
      - please just don't stop the other Welterweights from eating

You know how they can eat..? Fight Each instead of running around fighting people like Gomez and Golden Schlog

you know why they fighting people like Gomez and Johnson? so that they can set up bouts to do what Floyd isn't doing, they are all coming off of hard losses, Cotto with Shane and Margarito with Williams, all fighters that have faced each other just like you said that Floyd has yet to even look at. now Cotto takes it easy and fights Gomez who is a very solid opponent who's hungry instead of an old gate keeper or ancient fighter like Sharmba or Gatti and Margarito beats the **** out of Johnson and now is facing ANOTHER champion in Cintron, these people are fighting each other it's just Floyd is fighting everyone else. I know what sets up the mega fights and thats one road to turn but homie we got classics everyday, the only Mayweather fight that will be TRULY remembered is his De La Hoya fight, yea he beat Corrales but due to Corrales heart that legacy died down, he went on to face greusome beatings and a monumental, history making win ON REGULAR TV.

you know what this means? that in the over view of history and the stage of Boxing when people look back to learn about the history of the sport they will see Floyd Mayweather fighting a bunch of fights that doesn't glorify the titles that he holds. he is fighting guys like Hatton(140) and De La Hoya (154) and is the best Welterweight in the world? he hasn't faced Cotto (147), Williams (147), Margarito (147) or basically anyone who can call themselves a Welterweight without lying or moving up or down...

I'm sorry but I'm a fan of Boxing and that **** don't fly with me, call it what you will but this sport is about fighting the best and it's a shame that as time goes on and the greats keep coming that all they can think about is money when they have fans who believe in their abilities but never get to see them put fully threw the test against the best of their class, a ****ing shame truly and here u go talking about numbers and money.. money gonna get made homie regardless but fights wont and as long as he keeps taking these side line fights then we will never get to see the fights that cement our memories, the fights that will give us more passion to the sport, the fights that matter.. if thats cool with you then fine but it ain't by me, I still love the **** out of Floyd but I'm pissed he's giving Oscar another shot, I just hope he makes more money. 100

                a New York local?
They don't teach kids in New York to speak their own language?
                Cotto can barely talk..

He's a good fighter though, I think the Gomez win is gonna do more for him than his Mosley win, more people know Gomez than Mosley IMO, because of the Contender.
Us boxing fans knows what win is bigger than the other, but if you're just an outsider watching not knowing who Shane Mosley is, and you mention Alfonso Gomez, they are probaly gonna say "Oh yeah, they guy that fought in The Contender, that show with Sly and Ray Leonard, right?"
Not like Shane Mosley was in the Contender ...yeah I think need to stop explaining or whatever the **** I'm doing right now before I embaress myself, I need some ****ing sleep.

Yes, well I can tell by the nature of the threads you've been creating lately that you've fallen into some kind of groove. You must be getting some measure of instillment with your "Mr. Flamboyant."

                    It works for me.

Lol... maybe I should think before I fire next time...

Because, as happened last time I questioned you, you have made me look foolish.

What's wrong with my type of threads?
