    That's what you would do...

But if you are Floyd And you are trying to build up a promotional company, record label, keep founding your many foundations...., and Numberous other business options such as an "Casino" (which he said he wanted to do)

WHY WOULD YOU TURN DOWN 50 million to fight Oscar when you need this money in order to fuLfilled all your DREAMS..?

YOU would be a fool not to fight Oscar again...

Floyd thinks with his brain, he doesn't think whats best for boxing to have good match ups like Mayweather/Williams, Mayweather/Cotto, Mayweather/Mosley... No, its let me have a rematch with Oscar cuz I know I'll beat him again and the whole world knows I'll beat him again except mexicans who will keep on backing oscars losing streak.
I hope floyd will give you some of his money...

        I guess...

He doesn't really need this payday to fulfill his dreams though Horus, he is already well past the money needed to fulfill his dreams, I can promise you that.

If he wants to start a promotional company, he should do that.

If he wants to fight, he should fight.

It's just kind of ****ty that he wants another De La Hoya payday... he already got one.

Cotto needs to be in a PPV that at least Does 350K PPV
Cotto is not Know yet, he is still a Local...

I meaned this Dude is Still Fighting For Free ON HBO.... and he is suppose to Be Mayweathers Equal is terms of being a star and a draw..?

It’s a reason why COTTO NEVER FIGHT OUT OF NEW YORK Recently...
And its not just the 8 oz. gloves Las Vegas Dont want him.....

Cotto fighting in New York which is Puerto Rican Central is going to sell because he is Puerto Rican...

If many paciquo fight in the Phil. Every fight he would sell out Too,,, But Manny Paciquo is a Star now so he fights in Vegas and sells out

Ricky Hatton Sells Out In Manchester… But Ricky Hatton is a Star now so he fights in Vegas and sells out

And Joe Cal….is Still a Local in my Book too… But now he has Reach the star status, So now he is Fighting in Vegas….which is going to sell out

EveryOne Knows P.P.V is the real indicator of A boxers Success... Because you to have the appeal to make people spend anywhere from $45-60 dollars
to see you fight from all across the nation Not just "New York"

          Example:
Cotto vs. Judah in (NEW YORK)= 225,000 PPV BUYS
Cotto is suppose to be ABLE TO sell out ****...
or have a bigger fan base than floyd...where are they at..??

Floyd vs. Judah in (Las Vegas) = 375,000 PPV BUYS
          (http://www.subfighter.com/forum/view...topic&p=741724)

LOOK at it like this:Floyd Fighting a No Name Baldomir Did better than Any Cotto Fight

Floyd vs . Carlos Baldomir in (Las Vegas) = 325,000 PPV buys
          (http://www.*********.com/*********_2...VefLFmoxo.html)

The Fact of the Matter is that Cotto is not Know yet,
"HE is still a New York Local" and the "FACTS DONT LIE...."
I'll post my post from the other thread which is obviously the post that made you come up with this thread.. you didn't come up with it until I disputed your original post in the other Floyd thread so here it is..

"Cotto ain't known? he just beat Sugar Shane Mosley on PPV homie. for 3 years on PPV he fought on the night of the Puerto Rican day festival and had the WHOLE New York City buzzing, local? he ain't buzz NYC the way Ireland's John Duddy does he took it by storm. he fought Paulie Malignaggi, Mohammed Abdulaev and Zab Judah all on PPV meanwhile 2 of the 3 never been on PPV in a main event before, who was the attraction? he fights free on HBO when there is no occasion, when there isn't no festival or parade or if there isn't no opponent of big magnitude, even when he fought Abdulaev and Paulie i understood because the next generation Puerto Rican sensation was COMING UP so he had to be showcased properly on PPV but now that he already CAME UP for him to be fighting someone like gomez who lets be honest isn't no elite fighter, it doesn't warrant a PPV showcase, now the Margarito-Cintron winner VS Cotto, watch THAT be a PPV.

it's called proper promotion, **** Taylor-Pavlik I was on HBO and look at the rematch, sometimes it's good to throw a freebie because the kick back is always tasty, just ask Oscar De La Hoya BUT don't think for a second that Miguel Cotto isn't an attraction, that he wont draw money or fans.. Floyd doesn't fight Miguel NOT because he doesn't think he's a draw, thats just an excuse, he doesn't fight him because he's building the hype up, he's keeping me, you and every other member here buzzing and demanding for it so when it finally does happen the money will be immense but NOT because Cotto ain't no draw, believe that.."

let me ask you this though, since when does PPV sales determine how the best pick their opponents? thats not **** a real champion does yo don't sit here and say because of sales that Cotto doesn't deserve a fight with Mayweather, that is BULL****, complete and utter BULL****. Boxing is based on the ranks and who is next in line, in his last 3 fights, the only 3 fights since winning his title Floyd has only faced a 140 pounder and a 154 pounder, **** the money because this ain't about money, Butter Bean was making money homie this about about titles and ranks and right now Floyd doesn't deserve his #1 spot because since winning his title he hasn't and has shown no intent in fighting the best in his division where he is a supposed champion. he can't ****ing use money as a reason to avoid his number 2 ranked predecessor, thats BULL****.

you can talk about sales all you want fam but the truth is evident, the best fight the best, talk about PPV buys all you wants but Boxing ain't about money it's about the best fighting the best and taking the most chances for the sake of the sport, now I can understand Floyd not wanting to do that but if thats the ****ing case leave it for the ones who do, leave it for the ones who will take on whoever is out there and value money but also hope to achieve more and more greatness and not just sit at the top of a throne they have yet to defend, he's looking for opponents from 140 and 154 when there are people at 147, HIS DIVISION, who can beat him and he cites money as the reason? that sounds like a true champion? a champion is someone who takes on all foes, does that sound like a champion?

I'll tell you what Floyd is doing, Floyd is fighting and whooping on De La Hoya like this so that if he losses he lost to a 10 time world champion, a Hall Of Famer and not a young mother****er, if he wins he beats a Hall Of Famer and when he is eventually pushed against the gates he either fights a true threat in his division and says "I passed the torch" or he retires, either way it's a complete set up to cushion his ass when he falls. I got nothing but love for Floyd but I read threw the lines yo the man clearly isn't thinking about his belts, he's doing whatever the **** he wants, you know like in fight night how you have like 50 weeks to defend your title or you get stripped? it's like he waits until the last week to fight someone legit in his division then goes and does something else leaving his division, the one he is so called the #1 fighter in to have everyone else fighting each other for a taste.

even De La Hoya fought the best in his time, this is why he achieved such a height, he could have avoided Trinidad and gave Sweet Pea and all these cats a rematch but he didn't he said bring on Tito and now Mayweather is trying to reach that same star status where he's screaming for money only and it's supposed to slide? hell ****ing no, do what you want Floyd, fight whoever you please just don't stop the other Welterweights from eating, I just hope that whenever there is a unified Welterweight world champion Floyd doesn't decide to retire and defends his title like a man and doesn't force whoever is left as the champion to remain an "on paper champion for one of his crowns simply because he didn't want to fight. he makes it seem like because this is Boxing that he has some sort of right to avoid the best and take on a lesser challenge just because it's more money, motha****a this is Boxing, what the **** have you been doing for all the rest of your career, fighting the best not giving a **** about the bread you was doing it for the pride, what he is doing now is a shame to guys like Levander Johnson who died FIGHTING in the ring and not for nothing more than pride, money was never the issue, or course he would have liked it but it wasn't his calling card.

So you would turn down a short time offer of 50 million Dollars

for Anytime fight for 20 million Dollars..?

You acting like floyd is 40 years old and this is his last fight before he really retire....he is only 30 years old...

and he has a chance to be a bigger star than oscar....
With a 50 million dollar fight with Oscar
            and follow up with
a 20 million fight with Cotto

tell me thats not smart ...

I would do it....and im pretty sure you would too...

Oscar only has this year Left before he is not a draw nomore
Cotto still has 5 years left....

                      Nice!

You just seem more intelligent than most here, so I figured you were older I guess.

I'm only 20 myself, and in college too at Wichita State, political science major.

Did you ever do organized policy debate in either high school or college? You seem to be good with arguments, and that is somewhat of an indicator of what a debater does.

Just curious... I know there have to be some debaters on this site somewhere.
