Yet in your post you equate name recognition with PPV numbers. If all the champs in boxing were to stand by your logic do you know how many great fights would have never happened? I don't recall Mosley having PPV numbers when Delahoya fought him. What about the sheer number of unknown champs who have become greater since fighting the named PPV fighter. Where would Hopkins be if Trinidad used the same logic and didn't give him a chance?

Carlos Baldomir was NOT a no name fighter. Almost everybody was hyped up by him. If you're a boxing fan, if you didn't see him beat Zab Judah, you certainly saw him beat Arturo Gatti. He was huge for a welterweight, and everybody thought he was just too big for Floyd, the fight was billed as "Pretty Risky". Maybe Baldy faught like a no name fighter, but he certainly wasn't one in terms of hype.

Cotto was able to hit Shane almost at will,Which show a substantial loss of reflexes on Shanes part.Oscar was able to make Floyd miss alot of his shots.
