it doesnt have to be a punch hard enough to cause a knockdown, a guy can trip over his own feet, and if a jab lands in the process its still a kd like it or not.

I don't know what round was it but Vic's arms was out(did not throw a punch), Gorres was backing up and went down. A slip. I did see another knockdown that was called a slip but it was a knockdown. Vic hit Z in the head to cuz a knockdown.

We can all debate about this like JMM VS PAC(not comparing the actual fight, but the discussion), but it is done already.

Rematch in April or May.

And yes, the commentator was biased as ****. He said that the punch of Vic did not cuz a knockdown because it was a weak punch. But the punch clearly shows it caused a knockdown. The commentator is a sports commentator, he is not really a boxing analyst like the HBO or showtime crew.

For the result of the draw in the fight. Who is to blame? You can't blame the Filipino judge as he scored it for Vic. The Thai had it for Gorres and the Aussie had it a draw. The IBF initially put Australian Wright as ref but put New Zealander Revill. Both Vic and Gorres camps recommended Bruce McTavish as the ref but since Bruce did not renew his membership place, Revill got the job. Look at the Australian and Thai judges and the IBF. Even in a Philippine newspaper website, the fans said Gorres was lucky to come out with a draw.

Hey the330ballers,

Watch the fight before you open your mouth with BS. This fight was a robbery. Even the commentators one of which was Nonito Donaire, were surprised at the decision. The REF ******, wasnt professional. Z Gorres was KDed in like 3-4 instances and the KD wasnt counted. BS. I hope the next fight isnt in the Phillipines.

Funny a lot of posters here are trying to defend Darchinyan, robbery this robbery that. He's supposed to perform and KTFO a cotton puncher in Gorres. He's even bragging on that in the presscon in front of many of Gorres' countryman. He was that ****y, yet he failed to back up his big mouth and was even KD'd. Whoever says it was a close fight is a blind idiot. Vic had 3 Knockdowns which were legit but were ruled as slips. Round 8-12 Gorres did absolutely nothing.

Even though I dislike Vic, he won this fight fairly, squarely, and and dominantly on my card. I just watched the fight, and that desicion was fishy as hell to me.

What does anything Vic said before the fight have to do with the fact that if things were scored correctly he would have won the fight going away? Bragging himself up before the fight doesnt change the fact that he was robbed. I dont like Vic at all, and watched the fight to give Gorres reasons to win. He didnt do enough to make it close.
