    Hey the330ballers,

Watch the fight before you open your mouth with BS. This fight was a robbery. Even the commentators one of which was Nonito Donaire, were surprised at the decision. The REF ******, wasnt professional. Z Gorres was KDed in like 3-4 instances and the KD wasnt counted. BS. I hope the next fight isnt in the Phillipines.

An opinion of a pinoy sports writer bill velasco which I don't necessarily agree with

Now, let’s look at the Darchinyan-Gorres IBF title eliminator. Replacement referee Lance Revill of New Zealand was obviously flustered by the rowdy partisan crowd at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Cebu, and couldn’t keep his head. First he ruled a slip a knockdown against Gorres in the opening round. Naturally, the crowd didn’t take it well.

Revill then ignored the pushing and other bullying tactics by the Armenian-Australian veteran. In the sixth round, the former IBF and IBO world flyweight champion accidentally headbutted Gorres, opening a cut on his head. No point deduction was given Darchinyan.

It got so bad that Darchinyan’s manager Gary Shaw was incensed enough to propose that the referee “should be banned from boxing for life.” It is quite uncommon for both sides to be this angered by the outcome of a fight.

It was a great opportunity for Gorres, the IBF intercontinental superflyweight champion to prove he is world-class. For the wily Darchinyan, who tasted his first defeat in his final bout as a flyweight and lost both his belts to Nonito Donaire Jr. last July, a consecutive loss to a Filipino would be too much to bear.

Thus, a rematch. Will they call it “Now or Never 2”?

                  Hey Kadyo,

I give you props for telling it as it is. I also do not agree with that article. The head butt was accidental. And the "knee" was not intentional at all. Darch has an unorthodox way of fighting but that doesnt mean he is a "Dirty fighter" like he was portrayed by the commentators.

Like i stated before, a rematch should happen in the US. I saw an article in Philboxing site news that Gorres wants a rematch. A rematch should happen here in Los Angeles, afterall, there is good(but small) population of Filipinos and Armenians.

As far as Vic, he has that weird stance, leaving a stance. Gorres was jabbing and did not follow it up that might have cause a knockdown or even a KOa. I guess with Gorres chin, he did not want to get caught with Vic's punch.

I forgot what round was it in the later rounds but that was not a knockdown. Vic did not land a punch strong enough to cause a knockdown. Gorres seem gassed and Vic was moving forward that seems like a push. Not an intentional push but the momentum of their movement.

As far as the Pinoy reporters, i don't like most of them how they write their articles. Its always like a soap opera drama. Just look at the way they write about Pacquiao.

For the member who posted the fight, thank you. Can you upload it in mega or rapid. I like watching a fight continously, not clicking for the next round.

it doesnt have to be a punch hard enough to cause a knockdown, a guy can trip over his own feet, and if a jab lands in the process its still a kd like it or not.
