all the first fight showed me was that Cintron needed some SERIOUS work and guess what? he's been worked on. I saw the Feliciano fight live homie and Kermit had a hurt hand, a hurt hand can turn a win into a loss just ask Joshua Clottey who whipped on your boy at will until has hands gave out. you talk about Feliciano like the guy ain't tough, like his chin ain't strong, Kermit was ****ing away and ended up hurting his hand before knocking him out, you can't measure determination and despite whatever may have occurred in his career Feliciano came determined to win, only Cintron came a bit more determined, so determined that with such an extreme pain in his hand he knocked out Feliciano.
talk all you want about the first fight but until it was stopped the fight was still competitive and Kermit could have gone the 12 it's just he didn't have the will and didn't utilize his skill, he was so busy exchanging he never once tried to utilize that HIGHLY effective jab to set up shots and create distance, he went blow for blow and didn't even get blown out he just stopped trying, he just threw punches just to throw them and not have any real significance on the fight, he didn't even dispute the stoppage nor showed any ambition to get up and keep fighting, Tony just threw the punches but Kermit stopped the fight long before the ref stopped it, he didn't respond even though physically he was able to but mentally he self destructed, something went off and he just didn't want to be in there anymore, he couldn't answer, now he can.
Kermit will win this fight and if he doesn't he will lose in the same EXACT way mark my words, if Kermit losses it will be a mirror image of the first fight where he ain't doing what he SHOULD be doing and pays for it, maybe trying to prove a point in who's tougher or just fighting mad and not smart.as long as he uses his jab, throws combinations, imposes himself on Tony and backs him up, stays aggressive but doesn't allow big exchanges then he will have a great night. regardless of outcome Cintron is a better skilled fighter, he isn't so straight forward and can PUNCH. they think they are setting up Margarito-Cotto but what they might end up with is Cotto-Cintron.Comment

he wen't down four or five times in 5 rounds. He lost every round. How was it competitive. Cintron couldnt hurt margarito with his hardest punch. You seen that the first fight. Cintron caught him and it didnt even bother margarito. Your saying cintron which needs to fight a different fight. Pretty much a fight he can not fight. cintron is a power puncher, his fight is power. Its not jab and move jab and move. Plus whatever style he tries to fight it doesnt matter because margarito comes forward and will pressure cintron and overwhelm him. The first fight is a classic example of being OUTCLASSED. How do you have a badly hurt right hand then continue to throw full force punches with it lmao. even if adrenalin was a factor if he's hand was truly injured and couldnt feel it. He would have BROKE his hand and wouldnt have been able to continue throwing like that on an injured hand. And i never said margarito was my boy. I like watching his fights thats all. I just hate cintron and his 1000000 million excuses for everything. Margarito IS THE BETTER FIGHTER skill only takes you so far (ask judah). Margarito will beat him again and it will be because margarito is the more powerful better fighter. Its not because cintron was injured or didnt fight the right fight. It's like you think cintron will determine whether he wins or not when in reality he's in with a fighter that is better and stronger then him and there's nothing he can really do to change an outcome. and funny stweart is saying all this crap. He always hypes his fighters before fights then there fighters go out and perform like ****. Just like he said pavlik was going to be easy work for taylor and would knock him outComment

Cintron is more skilled and in theory has more weapons, but he didn't use them in the fight. I'm sorry man that doesn't make him the better fighter, Margarito may not be as skilled or even as powerful but he uses every ounce of strength, will and chin to win his fights. On the other hand Cintron has the talent but his lack of will didn't allow him to impose his skill on Margarito, so, I think when it comes down to it Cintron is not the better fighter and the rematch will reinforce that.Comment

see you got it ****ed up *****, you only looking at **** under 1 light which ain't good, if you gonna compare Cintron-Margarito to anything compare it to Klitschko-Brewster where Wladimir possessed all the tools to beat Lamon but didn't know how to cope with the pressure nor wasn't as skilled at the time to even the odds, once he learned how to deal with the pressure, use his jab and just overall better position himself to land his shots he won, same with Cintron. see what you fail to realize is that Cintron didn't put no effort to get up, he went down.. granted.. but the fact that he got up and did nothing showed that he clearly wasn't straight up there, he went in against another puncher who was able to eat threw his shots and still come forward, I didn't say Cintron hurt Margarito, I know he didn't and that was part of his problem in there, when he couldn't hurt homie he had no other means of offense and it discouraged him.
his jab is powerful now, you see how it helped him in the Mathysse and Feliciano fight, he uses it more and doesn't just throw it he knows WHEN to use it and sets up his shots off it, he does A LOT of things differently now than he did against Margarito that night. Cintron is tougher than you think yo he was just discouraged because in his head he had no answer so in his mind he failed, no excuse, he lost no matter what, check the books and you'll see TKO but my point is that there is a BIG difference with him in the Mathysse and Feliciano fight, he was a smarter fighter, he had better instruction, he showed he can be dangerous in the later rounds, he just overall showed MORE than what he showed against Tony. Tony was the better man that night but he isn't the better fighter, just like Lamon was the better man that night but he isn't the better fighter is what I'm telling you.
I said the fight was still competitive because Cintron was still throwing punches and still landing shots it's just Tony was landing more, competitive in the fact that he wasn't just a punching bag Tony was just winning the fight but if you notice Cintron was exchanging like a mother****er he was just getting the worst of it until he just dropped the ball. watch how in the rematch he's going to impose his skills. people think Cintron is soft but he ain't, he can box but you don't credit him with that because you have a vested dislike for him but against Feliciano whether his hand was broken or not it was still hurt, it was medically proven yo and that was from the 2nd round so from the 2nd round against a guy who was like a rock in the skull, a tune up gone wrong he managed to box his way into a stoppage, he used skills to whether the pressure and showed heart for not giving into the punches he was taking which rocked him, punches he didn't expect..Comment
