Bill O'Reilly is an old fashioned racist to be honest. He was offended by Pepsi picking up Ludacris, but said nothing of The Osbournes. I'm sure O'Reilly wasn't offended by Alan Minter's comments.

I remember watching the fight as an eight year old, can't remember the comment myself, but my old man says he did get a lot of pressure put on him by the press and tried to recant by saying he meant to say 'any man' rather than 'black man'. He best lesson he got was three rounds of pain a goodish fighter schooled by a legend. The crowd was full of white racists , National Front etc and they couldn't handle it.

The Ali thing was a bit different because it was black on black, I think he called Frazier an uncle tom as well. George Foreman couldn't believe that how much more popular Ali was than him in Zaire 'I was blacker than him..' he said, unfortunately, George pissed them all off when he brought his German Shepherd dog with him (none of his PR guys realised that the colonial Belgians used to set these dogs on the locals if there were any demonstrations)

^^Leading up to his fateful match with Marvin Hagler. Nope. Noone bitched and moaned, no one complained, no one protested, nothing. Minter deserves much more attrition for what he said back then. Guy is a twit, although I expect the next generation will treat us with the same disdain for using derogatory language such as '***' and 'so gay'. We'll be the new old twats soon enough, if aren't already.

Hopkins deserves to be seen as a **** for what he said, albeit an amazingly highly talented ****. Calzaghe was just replying, but then he gets what he deserves for trying to beat up old black men and failing.
