The only thing that happened was a good old fashioned, 3 round ass whipping by the hands of the Marvelous one. I wouldn't at all be surprised if Bill O'reilly attacked Bernard Hopkins, people are just going overboard with his recent comment. If you were offended, fine, but what are you gonna do? Somone must have already pointed this out, but when Hagler won the fight he was pelted with **** by the white racist crowd who came to see their white boy beat a black man.
Hagler had to wait till his 53rd fight to reach that moment and it was ruined because of what Minter said.

Of course people made a big deal about it back then. But the fact is, only 10 years before that, racism was an open and accepted practice. sonofisis is trying to justify an act of ignorance that occurred today, an era of modern tolerance and idealism to an act of ignorance that occured more almost 30 years ago when America was barely transitioning from a racists segregated state. We are supposed to be exercising equality and tolerance on all fronts, by all people of color shapes and sizes.......................except black people who can say whatever, whenever because of what they experienced. thats a cop out. how are we supposed to mature as a society with that kind of mentality?

yup this topic is invalid. And the fact it doesn't change that Alan Minter is a racist and so is Hopkins. Alan is just a white racist, and Hopkins is a black racist who lost alot of white fans for saying the **** that came out his mouth. Hopkins is a dumb ass because the majority of his fans probably are white, now he has next to no fans left except the morons who think saying racist stuff doesn't make you a racist.
