not exactly did he say that about Taylor, he gave alot of praise to him as he should be but I remember one quote on this HBO show where they were talking about Taylor's experiences going into the Kronk gym and Steward said something like 'in here Andy Lee is the middlweight champ' and that was only when he had like 3 pro fights or something. I dont know how good he is because I havn't seen enought of his fights.

uhm, the only fighter of his that has lost recently was jermain taylor... so where are you going from here??? and jermain had the win, if he had come out after the knockdown in round two and not been so wild, and that wasnt manny's fault, that was jermains....

Steward has a habbit of cheerleading his fighters. He had the same opinion about Vivan Harris and Kermit Cintron. I recall him saying Floyd needs to fight Harris to be called the best jr welter, then Harris ran into Maussa.

Andy does have the skills and seems to have the attitude to be a great champ, but I think saying beating Pavlik is premature. Who knows though if he does this a fight a month thing and steps up each time and looks good maybe by the end of the year the statments by Manny won't seem premature. One thing I do feel is that Andy would give Pavlik a lot better fight than Duddy will.
