Was BUTTERBEAN a boxer or a celebrity boxer?

I have a poll and i would like see what you think. My co-worker seems to think Butterbean wasn't a boxer or should i say a real pro or say a real pro boxer. He belives butterbean was more of a celebrity boxer. Please vote.

I agree with your co-worker. He's more of a celebrity boxer.

I mean, sure he might be a professional boxer, but he seems more like a never ending The Contender series.

So to you he's both a pro boxer and a celebrity boxer?

      Chose one.

And i stand at, butterbean was in fact a pro boxer. No matter how ****ty you may think he was.

Fighters who fight 4 rounders only (unless Larry Holmes offers him a pay day) are celebrity fighters.

He was a celebrity boxer, because he was everybodys fat Butterbean.
But on the other hand, he was/is a pro boxer, just like I consider Reggie Strickland a pro boxer.

He KO'd a lot of pro boxers, so that's what he is. Being a pro boxer just means you fight in a ring under professional boxing rules for money. Like him or not, that qualifies him.

How is he any less of a boxer than any other pro boxer in the world? Is it cause he's fat?

I think the appropriate term is "circus side show."
