    Is Baldomir's chin overrated?

    Mayweather = Pillow Puncher

    Clottey = Could'nt KO Corrales at WW, and couldn't put away the guy in his last fight despite many oppurtunities.

    Gatti = Shot, Undersized

    Forrest = So who has Forrest KO'd that tells us he is a very big puncher? He couldn't knock out Mosley despite hurting him badly, Vernon wears his opponents down then KO them, he doesn't have one punch KO power.

    So has Baldomir's chin really been tested? He has been stopped once in his career In one of the early fights in Argentina.

    I would like to see him face Cintron, Margarito or Cotto before making a judgement on how good his chin is.

    The big reason is that Forrest hurt Mosley so badly... and Mosley has shown a great chin his whole career. Then Forrest landed bigger bombs on Carlos, and Carlos didn't even care that he was getting hit. It was just pretty routine.

      I would rather see Cotto vs Baldomir than Cotto vs Gomez.

      I want to see if Cotto can hurt Baldomir or not and if Cotto wins very convincingly another reason to call Floyd out and tell him AKA the Judah and Mosley fights

        forrest not stopping mosley is a testament to mosley's being tough, not a knock on forrest.

        when have you seen mosley ever that hurt besides the forrest fight?

        Zab hit Baldomir with some good shots, but Baldomir took them well.

        never seen tata's fights with rodriguez and cruz. they had nice ko percentages but you can only tell so much by that.

          no way is he a pillow puncher. baldy has an all time great chin. mayweather didnt try to hurt him to much but if he really wanted to he could of. Mayweather knocked out hatton who was never hurt that bad or knocked out ever. mayweather knocked him down twice in that fite when hatton was only down once before that his whole career. Mayweather hits very hard when he wants to.

            Considering he made a career (a pretty damn good career I might add) by taking punishment and coming on late I would say no.
            He took shots from Judah (fast and powerful), Mayweather (KO'd Hatton), Gatti (good puncher at lower weightclasses), Forrest (dropped Mosley) and Clottey (beat up Corrales).

            He also fought powerful contenders like Miguel Rodriguez and Jose Luis Cruz.

              Haha... I actually started laughing when I read this thread. Jesus Christ. Of all the things to try to discredit... I mean, this community feeds off discredting fighters by reading facts off their boxrec. Newsflash people. You can make 99.9% of fighters read poorly by doing that. It doesn't prove anything. But... jesus christ... It is one thing to try to discredit a P4P elite fighter that is in a rival position with your favorite, but a shot overachievers chin? This is the most ridiculous thread in the history of this site.

                  No its not at all. YOu can really rate chins like that either. Mayweather, the pillow puncher knocked out a guy who was never even staggered by the hardest hitting 140 pounder in the world. Its just boxing for ya. Baldy has an amazing chin.
