Torres came into the ring in great shape, he was just coming off of a fight.

And Cotto dominated the fight, he just got caught a bunch of times. Inbetween all that, it was 100% Cotto. He was just outclassing Torres.

Ricardo Torres is probably one of the most underrated fighters out there, everyone thought Kendall Holt was going to go hand him a beating and became just another KO. I dont think Torres would be a threat at 147 but at 140 he's trouble for everyone.
