Def Miguel Cotto. He's fighting Gomez and still is ranked as number 2 ww??? WTF? And all the talk about fighting Floyd. Cotto is aiming on starting calling out Floyd 1 year from now when Floyd is older and slower. That mentality makes me sick. He not even a great boxer, just very strong.

STF its Floyd that dont want the fight, Cotto would snap his hand off for the fight as it would be worth Millions

all Cotto has done recently is prove himself ,nobody thought he'd beat Mosley but Cotto had the plums to step up to the plate & take a the risk

        I don't know...
...most of the guys on that list are established and some (like De La Hoya, Hopkins, Mayweather, Roy Jones Jr., and Calzaghe)are already on their way out)

So can you call any of the stars hyped? I don't think so.. they have proved being the best.. (I know some will argue about DLH in this one.. But I'm not talking about DLH post Sturm DLH, when he started running Boxing as a hobby, I'm talking about Pre-Sturm DLH)

Wladimir Klitschko? Call him hype if you want to, but there just isn't anyone who can beat him. He is the most dominant fighter today (in any division)
        How is that Hype?

Same goes for Pacquiao and Cotto? Can they lose in their next fights? Sure, but at this point, they are facing the best competition out there.. so even if Cotto faces Mayweather (who would be the favorite) and loses? Does that make him Hype? Not in my eyes.

To me, a hyped fighter is an unproven fighter (like Lacy, or Peter was) and everyone is jumping on his **** thinking he is the new superstar. Somewhere along this process, some actually emerge to be those superstars, and others fall short and once they fall short, that's when this "OVER HYPED" comes into play...

So my vote goes to either Pavlik or Dawson.
I voted for Pavlik as I don't think he will pass by Taylor in the rematch and will soon be labeled as Hype.

You're wrong. Floyd doesn't need Cotto and Cotto isn't known enough. The Cotto fight doesn't appeal to PBF Money wise. On the fighting itself it would be another easy win for PBF but if ur the best everything looks easy.

                      BTW...

Just for the record.. I think that if anything Wladimir Klischko is underrated and people don't give him enough props due to the earlier losses in his career

Wlad is the man right now and will be the man for a while!

IMO the most Over Hyped boxer on this planet is Dimitry Salita... His undefeated record means nothing and he has been fighting spoon-fed opponents all of his career and it's just a matter of time when he finally steps up, and when he does, he will be exposed in his first fight.
