No, it's actually LESS significant because Tito and Jones had never faought before which provided some interest. We already saw this crap.

there are at least 3 tougher fights at welterweight alone.

de la hoya only came close because

      1. he stipulated ridiculous weight guidelines on floyd that were clearly meant to tip the scales in his favor.

      2. he stipulated the ring size, to tip the scales in his favor.

      3. he chose the gloves he wanted each to wear, to tip the scales in his favor

and who knows what the **** else to tip the scales in his favor, and still clearly lost irregardless of what a bunch of idiots want to say about the scorecards.

if de la hoya fought at the weight floyd wanted, in the ring size floyd wanted, with the gloves floyd wanted he get his ass dropped just like ricky hatton.

oscar sucks, thats why he fights guys like mayorga and forbes when he gets a choice. if DLH would sign a contract.. Cotto, Williams and Moseley would all step to 154 and kick his sorry ass

Floyd could have run **** on DLH all night but chose to make it as close as possible so there would be a little bit of drama going down the stretch..

Whats gonna change this time.. Floyd is better and DLH is only getting worse. fighting steve forbes isnt preparing him one bit for Mayweather.. DLH has 5 losses on his record and it should be 6 or 7 and he's the "toughest" matchup

      lol, bull****.

I wonder what DLH will do to tilt the scales in his favor this time?

Maybe an 8 round fight? he may be able to pull another SD loss if that were the case.

It's not so much a question of what is more significant. The tragedy is that PBF unlike the other three fighters in this equation, still has a lot to offer. He also has some work left if he wants to solidfy his legacy.
