Floyd has openly turned down fights with the last #1 ranked welter weight and the current #1 ranked welter. then went as far as to say he is retiring. AND he has not defended against ANY of the top ranked welters, which is what you need to do to be considered a champion, according to webster.

Fight the top guys (not make excuses) and defend your championship.

          Thank you Webster
Funny ****, Clever by all means yet its so ****ing true, Floyd and his fans need to look at the definition of what Champion really means

And you and Webster can go lookup many other definitions. It doesn't change a thing. He's still mine and many other's favorite fighter and even if he doesn't fight anymore, that won't erase what he accomplished in the sport. Many forget Floyd was fighting p4p elite fighters when he was 23 and kept doing so till very recently. Cotto, the number two ranked is fighting his top challenge in Margarito age 28. That says allot. floyd is definitely the best of this era and if boxing wasn't such a web of corruption and under the table deals, we would see him and others fight allot more. Don't forget Floyd didn't make this game, he just plays by it's "rules" and if you gotta hate, hate the Bob Arums, the Don Kings and all other matchmaking en****** involved. But you won't do that because deep down inside you know if it wasn't for these en****** we wouldn't have undefeated fighters reaching their 30. Or with dubious chins. In other words, neither Cotto or Mayweather would be undefeated. Or any other fighter, sort of like in K1 or MMA.
