he just didn't have an answer.. and to those thinking that Tony knocked him out your dead wrong, that dude could have continued to 12 he just stopped putting up an effort, knocking someone out is what Glen Johnson did to Roy Jones Jr. THATS a knockout but something like was only a TKO, I see mad people saying "when Tony knocked him out", he didn't. Kermit could have continued and if he had the proper adjustments to his style, the use of his jab and just beeter overall skills he would have Boxed Tony out, he might get a lot of love but much like my favorite fighter Tito Trinidad Margarito is 1 dimensional and a ****er with new found skills such as Kermit Cintron wcan redeem himself if anyone from such a embarrasing defeat, he put himself to a point where all Margarito had to do is just throw punches because the fight inside HIMSELF was already lost, he knew that which is why he cried in shame rather than protest the stoppage, trust me that wasn't no stunning win even though I congradulate Tony till this day but I think based on HOW it went down it had more to do with Kermit than Tony.

some of y'all will think I'm hating, I'm not, I'm just calling **** how I see it, towards the end Kermit didn't fight with ambition to win he fought like a confused kid who wanted a way out without losing and didn't get it, Margarito is a good fighter but Kermit has all the tools to beat him, he had them then and he has even more now to beat him and I think he will. I like Margarito by the way for all you **** suckers who be **** riding him I just call **** fair, no discredit to Tony's win because he threw the punches that got the fight stopped, he let his hands go and reaped the glory but it was against someone who towards the end didn't give his all meaning only half the man lost the physical part of that fight, it doesn't justify it but it does explain it..

Pain had nothing to do with it. First off, cintron cries after every fight, win or lose.

Second of all, he probably thought his career was over. He wasnt quite at the level to have a name that would keep him around if he lost, ala zab judah. zab loses and he still get's good fights cuz he was around for a while. Cintron was a young man with a young career. He believed the hype about his right hand, that it would KO anyone (which is pretty much true, just not against Tony's freakish chin), and neither him, nor his team, had a backup plan if it didnt. Cintron saw all his hopes and dreams go flying out of the window, and he cried. it's a pretty natural response at the conclusion of a stressful situation. it's why floyd cries after fights sometimes. it's just s sudden release, and is actually very healthy. it certainly is not a sign of being mentally weak. those who believe it is a sign of weakness are very ignorant of the way the human mind works.

Cintron is not avoiding paul williams. paul is an easier fight for cintron than williams, style wise.

by your conclusion, cintron is avoiding paul williams to get in the ring with a guy who already destroyed him? If that is the conspiracy you believe, then the cintron's conspirators are geniuses!

crying after a win is seen as okay especially if its a big fight. You just accomplished something meaniingful and all your hard work paid off so you get emotional and cry, but i guess Cintrons crying was seen as kiddish. He cried like a baby after getting TKO...i just thought it was hilarious to see, hopefully he wont cry this time when Tony beats him.

Williams did not say he would wait. he went out and got quintana, HBO didnt like it, so then williams said he would wait until March 29, but cintron didnt know if he would be ready for March 29th, and Pwil/ goosen wanted a contract signed right away. Cintron only got cleared last week. What if cintron had signed the contract for march 29th, but then his doctor said he wasnt cleared until May and he had to pull out of the fight? Cintron's team didnt want to screw williams over like that, so they knew he had another opponent that he could face in the meantime.

Paul williams could have agreed to face cintron back in the early fall for a december date, in which case there would be no feliciano fight or injury, but pwils team said that cintron wasnt worthy of fighting paul williams and that he needed to beat margarito first. well, now he has that opportunity, with a fight with Cotto right behind it. Too bad Williams decided to wait 7 months to line up another fight.
