I have to admit, I haven't seen much of Woods but this is what I've always said about Tarver. Who the hell has he beat? Until he beat Roy he was a nobody. Sometimes a person can have a great boxers number, just like Ken Norton had Ali's number and Vernon Forrest had Sugar Shane's number. They never beat anybody else. Dude is a real joke.

yeah, i agree. tarver can't run any longer, but he can hold with his elongated arms. he will be tired after the sixth round. he will allow himself to reduced to a punching ball because he is too tired in 8th. woods will finish him in the 9th.

So which of the Woods-Johnson fights are considered bad decisions?

I saw on boxrec, Woods's manager said he would pay for Johnson's expenses, saying, "a champion shouldn't have to pay for this stuff." This was the first fight which was a draw.

But I thought it was the last fight that was considered controversial... the won where Woods got the decision.

The first one most people had johnson ahead, i had him up by 3 rounds. the 2nd fight johnson won which was a fir decision and the 3rd fight johnson should have won again but it was given to woods, so woods should not have any results over johnson.

I dont disagree but like anything its interpretation. Anyway you look at it Woods and Johnson were evenly matched.

As for this fight (Tarver), at this stage in their careers I pick Woods by decision.
