Who ya got? Winky Wright or Edison Miranda at 168?

Miranda has never shown me anything that says he could deal with a p4p boxer like Winky.

Although I like to watch Miranda because he is a hard-hitting exciting fighter, I think you guys are vastly overrating him until he proves otherwise.

So far he fought tooth and nail with Abraham (even though he broke Abe's jaw), was dropped by Green, and was KO'd by Pavlik.

He has never even been near a fighter of Winky's calibre.

Agreed, Miranda has beaten noone, he's a very hard hitter, of course he's gonna look great against average fighters. Seems to me like people are already jumping the gun and comparing Miranda to top fighters like before the Pavlik fight without being legitimately tested yet. The only good win he has on his resume is Green.

For the past couple of years Tennessee has been beating us due to our ****iness. This year is will be kinda different. I dont think the Tigers are letting that #1 rank go to their heads. You're right, those Vols are some streaky ****ers. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT! On any given night Chris Lofton will go off. (leads the nation in 3 pointers) Lofton is the guy "The Vols." strive off of. If we can some how limit Lofton and force him to play our type of game then a blowout is what you're going to witness. If Lofton goes off (which I hope he doesnt) then we will see a very tight game. Hey, who knows. I just want to see a good game. We should beat though.

Well he KO'd Eastman, back when Hopkins or Abraham could not hurt him. He then flew to Abraham's backyard, where Wilfred Sauerland controled the show, and beat the living **** out of him. Any other ref in any other country gives Miranda the belt. So I would say he passed the test against some tough opposition. His only real flaw on his record is against Pavlik, which was at a weight where Miranda should have no longer been fighting.

But, I hear ya, let's see him get 1-2 decent wins at 168lbs before we start giving him wins against the elite.

I think miranda would actually win this. you saw what taylor done to wright with his power shots, imagine what miranda would do to him. I think that because miranda throws wide looping punches it would be hard for wink to block them as they would be coming from all angles thus he would get caught a good few times which is more than enough to hurt any man.

tito lost so big because he didnt punch unless he had an opening, he did not try to creat them, miranda would try to make the openings like taylor did. i see winky winning but miranda doing better then tito did

Miranda has a granite chin, people tend to think he's chinney because he got TKOED by Pavlik. What people should be amazed is that he took 7 rounds of clean punches from Pavlik and he still got up. (although if the fight continued he probably would of gotten killed) Against Wright who is a feather fister at 168, I could see Miranda winning or Wright outboxing him for UD, it could go either way.
