On youtube, I have a ton of full Juan Diaz fights. the highest video has only got about 2300 hits, thats the only one above 2000 hits and the rest of the videos are lucky to get over 200.

even Eddie Chambers fighting Dominick Guinn gets 5000 hits. I really dont understand it.

Mayorga makes cash partly due to his exciting style, but mostly its because of his big mouth.
and the marketable part of his exciting style is not how exciting he is himself...it actually is that he puts famous fighters in exciting fights, if you get my drift.
    Mayorga is awesome though.
I dont know many boxing fans who find Juan Diaz boring. Where do u get that from? He comes to fight! and brings it to his opponents.

Reminds me of a video I saw of B-Hop's 5th pro fight.

Anything pre-Ramirez that you watch of the Macho-man is similair, too. Always cool to see that evolution of styles..

Unified champion at 154... he didn't let Trinidad win a round. All of his losses are close too, and can be argued the other way. Definately not going to be a fighter you remember at a drop of a hat, but a true historian will remember him.

You can be technical and still win with some oomph... Winky doesn't do that. His thing is doing just enough.
Winky really should go for a 116-112 win once in a while instead of relying on a 115-113 win. I can agree with that. He would be ranked a HELL of a lot higher if he would have done that in his four losses.

Vargas, Taylor and Hopkins are ALL fights you could say Winky won.

Honestly, I wish Winky would just fight a semi-bad fighter real quick and actually knock him out for once. Just that little knockout over a lousy fighter would make him much more marketable.
but fighters just dont understand this kind of stuff I guess...

I haven't seen the Simon fight, but I have also heard that it can be credibly argued that Winky won that one too.

I've seen the Simon fight and have it on tape somewhere. It could easily have been a draw. As a matter of fact I think they announced it as a draw then changed the decision, like in Barrera-Juarez I.

                    Bernard the KO artist.

                    Hopkins putting on the pressure.

Bernard's record breaking first round KO.

                    Hopkins today.

Word. Too many ballerinas in this sport not enought fighters. We have to re-examine the way judges use the criteria to score a fight.
